Folks, I had a quick question regarding employment letter. My current job is the one that's providing me all the experience points for the NOC, and hence, is very important.I couldn't get a letter from HR describing my job responsibilities, since that would mean I'd have had to involve my service line lead - whom I really distrust. So, instead of that, this is what I'm doing:
1. Got an employment letter from HR which states tenure and designation
2. Attaching salary slips/appointment/promotion letters, etc.
3. Listed my job responsibilities on a "Company Letterhead" and asked my manager to sign it - got him in confidence to keep it secret. Got the company letter head from a friend in HR.So, the question is related to #3 - Now that the letter is on company letterhead, but signed only by my manager (not by HR) - Do I need a separate affidavit explaining that I don't have a letter from HR (per this link: www . fsw2014 . info/reference-letter-problems/)Any thoughts? Thanks for the help guys! I am nearly reaching the milestone, and hopefully will have a entry in the sheet in 3-4 days

Hi, You donot need an affidavit when the roles and responsibilities are mentioned in original letter head including your supervisor email id and contact number (please refer my post on page 1027 for completedetails). Letter head is ony mandatory when you are not providing the roles and responsibilities on original company letter head.

It seems there were issues with the JD sent by you as well as with Form 5406E.

Can you confirm that you sent Form 5406 E for you and your family members, whether accompanying or not?

Also if you can post your JD then the forum members can comment on what could possibly be the issue.

@ToCanadaWithLove, really sorry to hear this. I don't think so there is any issue with the reference letter because the CIC letter you have posted here highlights all important section headers, "Note", "Important", but the only missing document as shown in the appendix is the Additional Family related information form. Did you not send it with your application?

It should not say "non-recognized institution". I believe you wont get point for degree/diploma if your ECA states bachelor's or PG from a non-recognized institution. I can tell you that because I had the same issue, I did BTech from Amity University and initially WES sent report with: "Canadian equivalency- bachelor's degree from a non-recognized institution".

I provided scanned copy of University letter head stating all the institutions it is recognized by and affiliated to. Most importantly WES is looking for UGC recognition of your university.

You can get it from your registrar and scan the copy to WES at the email id mentioned at the turn over page of your WES Credential report and they shall revert it and send you new copy in 2-4weeks. i got mine in 15days.

non-recognized university is not a problem here. The actual problem lies in the assessment itself : that is post-secondary STUDY instead of a degree or a diploma.
No point is awarded for this assessment.

There are many whos CC not charged yet.... I hope u will hear soon... meanwhile u can check with your bank, whether any attempt was made for CC charge?

CIC is also POS. they dont wihdraw money.. so ur limit is 100000

Checked, no attempts. Should I mail CIC, seeking status?

Yes i sent the additional family information form that is whats so strange to me....... correct me plz on this their was only 1 page form of additional family i sent where all info about me my spouse and my 2 sons were written..... or i need to send each separate form of 5406 :'(

Its 35 days since i received PER. I didn't receive MR mail till now. If we send mail to DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca hope we can get an update. Provide your views on the same ASAP. If any contact no's also please share. Thanks in advance ....

Hi Anil,

I would recommend to wait for some more days as every visa office has its own SLA for completion.
I got MR after almost two months of PER.
