I did my post graduate diploma in Journalism from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan. My WES Report says Canadian equivalency: 'TWO Years of post secondary study at a non recognised institution'
I am applying under NOC 1123.
will CIC consider my this PG diploma for immigration ? or is it subject to rejection ?
Kindly advice. i am in dilemma.....

Yes, they might. I had the same issue and I was advised by seniors of this forum to send it anyway as there will be some chance compared to no chance by not sending it. I ll be sending the new reference letter by today eve.
If you have UCI number mention that orelse don't forget to mention complete details like Initial application received date n time, receiver's name, your DOB, POB, Country applied from, email, Passport number and put these details on a covering letter along with reference letter.

Also looking at the posts and as advised by seniors in this forum CIO is currently checking apps from mid June, as you July applicant you still have some time but not much kindly send in new doc ASAP.

Seniors please correct me if I missed anything.

thanks for the analysis. How about doing a calculation taking only the PERs received in the excel and comparing against CIC no assuming that they are indeed PERs. Then the % apps in the SS will come down drastically and the CAP closure date will advance much ahead. Please do your calculations and let me know.

I took knowingly the number of apps received and not the number of apps that reported PER. The reason, as mentioned in my post, is that I estimate around 25% of the people who initially put an entry into the spreadsheet do not update it once they get charged or receive PER. You can see for example that around 25% of the first week May applicants did not enter any update into the SS even though they all should have received an update by now. If you check when the last week 1 applicant reported PER, you will find that entry many weeks ago.

This is why I believe taken all apps by May 22 (leaving buffer for those who already received PER for May 23/26) is closer to the real data than only taking those that reported PER.

Folks,

I had a quick question regarding employment letter. My current job is the one that's providing me all the experience points for the NOC, and hence, is very important.

I couldn't get a letter from HR describing my job responsibilities, since that would mean I'd have had to involve my service line lead - whom I really distrust. So, instead of that, this is what I'm doing:
1. Got an employment letter from HR which states tenure and designation
2. Attaching salary slips/appointment/promotion letters, etc.

3. Listed my job responsibilities on a "Company Letterhead" and asked my manager to sign it - got him in confidence to keep it secret. Got the company letter head from a friend in HR.

So, the question is related to #3 - Now that the letter is on company letterhead, but signed only by my manager (not by HR) - Do I need a separate affidavit explaining that I don't have a letter from HR (per this link: www . fsw2014 . info/reference-letter-problems/)

Any thoughts? Thanks for the help guys! I am nearly reaching the milestone, and hopefully will have a entry in the sheet in 3-4 days

QUESTION : If i mail the application by 10th Oct will i be in the CAP

It seems there were issues with the JD sent by you as well as with Form 5406E.

Can you confirm that you sent Form 5406 E for you and your family members, whether accompanying or not?

Also if you can post your JD then the forum members can comment on what could possibly be the issue.

That's strange. Is the Cairo visa office closed? Are all applications from Egypt being transferred to CPC?

the same happened last year, as of the political situation was not so good, so it seems again this year, which is far better as it is much faster processing than Cairo

Can you add the number 6 in the list of hot NOC's 2281 to see when it should reach the CAP

2281 was already added in the graph, but here is a quick analysis:

On May 22, 46 apps were received in the SS and CIC updated Monday that they have counted 177 apps, which makes the overall SS rate 24%

By now, we have 125 apps in the SS, which allows us to estimate that around 520 out of 1000 apps are used already. However at the current rate of new apps per day in the SS, the cap will certainly not fill this year.

Again, just my estimate out of many posted here.
