It's my humble request to all the credit card applicants, please please please take a step further and call your bank to increase the international credit limit so you do not have to loose your chance just because of such a silly issue

I'm reasonably sure ..... CIC has been processing 1 received day application on a daily basis .... In about 15 working days, CIC should speed up even more ... something like 3 received dates in 2 days or 2 in one day .....

I am 28th May applicant for 2173

Just now came to know our card was attempted 3 times ...........12th,15th & 16th...Currently we are in abroad and our phone was kept in India(Parents were keeping the mobile..They could not read the SMS )


Reason for decline international credit limit.(HDFC bank ) .... We have corrected the issue now.

Is there chance for another try ?? How do we contact CIC ??Pl share the email and phone nos .

All our efforts went waste.

One last try could be to fax them a letter clearly identifying your application, your credit card charge dates and times, explaination of why the transactions failed and your most humble request to try once more. Try providing the last 4 digits of your credit card too. Hope this saves your application. All the best!!!

Congrats! Yes, they reckon your duties match with the NOC code, hence issued PER. In the future, the same will assessed one more time by Local VO. If they need any clarification, they will come back to you, but wont reject your file without contacting you. Chill now and celebrate your first milestone.

I am 30th May applicant under NOC 2171....Today morning i received a message "A charge of CAD 1100 has been initiated on your CC"...

Its all because of your best wishes and the efforts put by the mentors on this forum. Hats off to you guys who are doing really a great job ;D...

Also i would like to know from all the senior members that, does CC charge means that my duties mentioned, matched the NOC category i have applied? Or is it that it is still to be evaluated?
As i was bit worried about the roles and responsibilities mentioned in the reference letter.

I think there is no better place than this forum for me to get help...........

My bank has mentioned me that i have 40000 withdrawal limit and 100000 rs as POS Transaction
limit on my debit card.

I need to pay 1400 cad

is there is enough limit available to do the transaction or there is difference between
POS transaction and international usage limit.....

please advise/..............
