Don't worry about article "The" and preposition "of". All are accepted and shall be honored - because it is government of Canada. There is no chance having 2 account Receiver General of/ for Canada.

However, if it were to any private company or individual, bank may not accept it.

So no worry.

Vams23, what are you saying!!...was it written on your DD that it's valid for 3 months..?? :o :o ???

No nothing written. No Validity Stamp. I was worried reading a lot of post about 3 month validity, hence started following up with ICICI officials. The confirmed it is valid for 3 months .

Infact my argument with the top management is ,if it is valid for 3 months, why is it not mentioned on the DD. Hence it should be extended to 6 Months, Which the are just not accepting to do.

I am in a nasty fight with the Bank Head and MD on the same

DD is hand written. Validity is stamped and clearly visible, dont know about the ink on the ink pad.

Just wanted to know because the Cheque book issued from ICICI have the tag 'valid for 3 months' just above the date of the cheque which is found at the top right corner of cheque...

Hi Guys

Will CIC / VO verify our experience by calling the work place?

If yes, during which period...before PER or after file transfer to VO

Also to add to this, Guys pls make some effort and go through CIC website. Likely that 90% of the queries will be solved by referring to the site. Believe me, CIC website will make you too an expert.
Pls understand, we are humans too and also working for our livelihood. It is humanly not possible to answer each and every question posted here.

But rest assured, we will definitely try to help and answer questions to which we know the answers. but then again, don't go by those answers blindly. Confirm from multiple sources. We may be wrong at times. We are also applicants like you sailing in the same boat.

So guys, all the best to United Canadians

Dude,

I would appreciate if you can share the copy of your DD 'Valid for 6 months' on the forum. It will be helpful for future the applicants also, they can ask the same from the bank.

For the security reasons you can blur the DD number and other info if required.

Cheers!
