i have been reading that pcc is needed in case you traveled to another country.

i stayed in Dubai for 3 months , was i required to send a pcc with my application ?

only required if stay is more than 6 months (other than Canada of course)

Hi Guys, I have total experience of 4 years... 3.5 years with one company and 0.5 with other company.... There is a 10 days gap when I switched my first company.. Please suggest whether my experience would be counted as 4 or 3 years... W

And my WES report is saying my master degree(MCA, Masters of computer Applications) is canada's master degree equivalent. How many points for education 22 or 23?

The Same DD issue making hard to swallow the food ??? ??? ???....1 question, how do the ppl who get their DD charged come to know about it...do they receive any SMS or do they personally check with the bank or do they come to know after the CIC emails them..?

If you have a photocopy of the DD , the Tel number of the paying bank in Canada is mentioned. might as well call them and confirm ,rather than a response from the India issuing bank who will take a week to respond.

And I would really want to believe that International DD are valid for 6 months, but my interactions with ICICI officials for the past 2 months (escalated even to Chanda Kochher-MD ICICI BANK) indicates it is valid for 3 months and they won't auto renew it. Will have to submit original back to the bank, and the will revalidate the physical copy

My docket for NOC 1123 has reached CIC on 13th August, 2014 and as part of the docket, i have included the PCC which was issued on 9th June. Do you think we will be required to get the PCC again? BTW what is the validity of PCC issued in New Delhi?

firstly,
i ve 5 month pregnency is this will create any problem with my medical or PR if i get the chance or wht wil be the solution for it.
or secondly how much numbers of applicant got approval in this cader.

I believe your main concern here must be about getting the X-Rays. .

You can do the medical while you are pregnant. However, you will probably have trouble finding a doctor willing to authorize the X-ray while you are pregnant. Most will simply refuse, even though it is actually quite safe.

You have mainly two choices regarding your X-Ray. I am not recommending any specific option as the choice is purely yours.

1) Either do it now with the help of a protective lead shield or 2) do the rest of the tests without X-Ray and wait for the delivery to do X-Ray.

It is a debatable topic, but also, it is a fact that a single exposure to X-Ray using protective shield will not harm the baby if it is done properly. Remember, although not a direct exposure, an X-Ray technician uses such a shield everyday and remains safe. It is always not recommended based on the growth stage of the baby as well as based on the quality of X-Ray service provider. Consult your nearest designated medical practitioner for the right advice as he/she will be able to assess the situation better. Always inform the radiologist about the pregnancy before you go for an X-Ray.

The second option is absolutely medically risk free and is entertained by visa offices too. However, your application will proceed further only once your X-Ray reaches the visa office. Also, this means a new addition of family member. Hence, the passport / other documents applicable for the child will also have to be submitted to complete your application.

What ever decision you take, wishing you a wise, cheerful and healthy baby. Good luck.

Why would they stamp valid for 6 months on the DD? I got a DD from ICICI Bank which states "Valid for 6 months"

Just a crazy idea came to my mind now, if the guys in DHL, UPS and so can keep track of all the parcels they send to Nova Scotia along with the NOC code written on the envelop, would be greater than any spreadsheet in the world

I've interacted with many from ICICI, the national DDs are valid for 3 months but There were mixed responses regarding the international DD, in foreign currency, most reliable ppl told it's valid for 6 months but still fingers crossed...
