Why would they stamp valid for 6 months on the DD? I got a DD from ICICI Bank which states "Valid for 6 months"

What is the date on ur DD. I issued mine from ICICI Bank Mumbai on 21 May and it has no validity stamp

1. I received PER on Aug 29, i am a 14th May applicant, should i expect CIC to ask PCC from me in Nov 2014?
2. Does CIC provide 30 days of time to give them PCC? :-\
3.Do they also request Medicals at the same time? :'( :'(

Hi Guys, I have total experience of 4 years... 3.5 years with one company and 0.5 with other company.... There is a 10 days gap when I switched my first company.. Please suggest whether my experience would be counted as 4 or 3 years... W

And my WES report is saying my master degree(MCA, Masters of computer Applications) is canada's master degree equivalent. How many points for education 22 or 23?

Number of years will be calculated based on the dates mentioned in the reference letters (sometimes they will look at the economic form that you fill out). Is it exactly 3.5 years and 0.5 years? May be there are a few days fewer or more than that?

Me and my wife are living in Cochin from last two years, previously we were in banglore for more than three years... Should i get a PCC where i currently reside or places where i stayed till date

PCC is always from current residence.

PCC will be asked by the VO along with MR. They will usually give 60 or 45 days deadline.

Dear seniors, regarding the documents that are not in English, I do understand that I should send a translation with them. Simple quesiton: do I need to send the original of the translation, copy, or certified copy? The translations in Brazil are extremely expensive.

I would appreciate if you can share the copy of your DD 'Valid for 6 months' on the forum. It will be helpful for future the applicants also, they can ask the same from the bank.

For the security reasons you can blur the DD number and other info if required.

Guys, just an update, got to know from my Dad, DD got encashed on 12th, I am a 23rd May 1112 applicant.

Now when can i expect the PER golden mail for me

Ideally you should send the original and certified translation with an affidavit of the translator. But notarized copy of the translation will also work if the translation was done by an official government agency.

It is like 3 year 5 months 15 days in one company and 6 months 20 days in other company.. Please let me know how many points?
23 for masters.. Are you sure because CIC is saying 23 to degree related to medical,pharmacy etc..
