What is the question in the form in exact words? The answer will depend on that.

The form asks for the "highest level of education"

Sorry, I understood what you said, but didn't undertand your suggestion as answer in the question in the form where is requests for highest level of education.

Isn't there an option for post-graduate diploma? If not, I would just put master's degree. CIC will check the WES report and give you 22 points.

I prefer this group to Whatsapp. Whatsapp will be painful. Though I don't mind sharing contact details.

What say others ?

@grooby @canOl , don't know about others ... I would definitely like to get in touch via watsapp @ later stage :)

Quick question seniors. Please advise.

I just got my assessment back and it says for one of my degrees: "Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)" and for my MBA it says "Post Bachelor's Diploma".

In the general application form where it asks you to input your highest level of education, what option corresponds to this? Master's Degree? Post Graduate - No degree? Bachelor's Degree?

Also, how many points do I get for CIC?

Let me tell you something to ease your tension.

I am working in field in Canada where people have to remit cheque's/draft payable to Receiver General for Canada, but sometimes they are not aware of what name to write when they are addressing payment to Government of Canada so they use below names:

-- Receiver General for Canada
-- The Receiver General for Canada
-- Receiver General of Canada
-- The Receiver General of Canada
-- Receiver General
-- Government of Canada
-- Receiver General Canada
-- The Receiver General Canada

Every name above works. I have got PE with it. So I see no reason to panic. :)

Hi Goku,
My DD reads Recieves General for Canada... the payable bank is Royal bank of canada. is it fine ?

Just a general thought. If CIC is updating PERs and considering PERs take 3-4 months after the applications reach them, will they keep on allowing applications knowing that they have so many files in the reserve and should stop accepting applications. Is it not their responsibility to let people know on time that people should stop sending files.

Eg: If we take NOC 2174. Assuming that it averages 300 applications per month. PERs should be done by the end of July. But, till now they are still accepting applications. Is this deliberate or a flaw in policy or carelessness?

They are not only accepting applications but are opening every package since as per the rules cap does not affect applicants with a valid job offer!! and to check if applicant who applied has a valid job offer or not they have to open the envelop... if u get my point...

Nope, that option does not exist unfortunately. I am afraid of doing that and CIC interpreting that "Post Bachelor's Diploma" is not "Master's Degree" thus not accepting my application.

What I believe is they once NOC 2174 reaches CAP limit, they going to send every application back for NOC 2174 at initial stage which is Completeness check.

But, that's like 1000 applications just for one NOC going back!! Heart Breaking for so many. There should be some common sense applied by some one some where. Any immigration system of a country like Canada should not operate like this. Anyways, these are only my views, dont really matter to any one, least to CIC :)
