Which one i need to tick ? 1 year or shall i write 12 months there?

I think it wont be an issue writing either, week or so does not matter as its not going to change your points anyways? Right?

I just got my assessment back and it says for one of my degrees: "Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)" and for my MBA it says "Post Bachelor's Diploma".

In the general application form, what option corresponds to this? Master's Degree? Post Graduate - No degree? Bachelor's Degree?

Also, how many points do I get for CIC?

I am worried about NOC 2173 application. Is it still open ?

Also some boxes in the Economic Class form are too small to write occupation name, can this be written by hand or can anyone guide what could be done ??

It is in the grey area as far as cap is concerned. But if your application is ready, you should send it and take a chance. You can fill in the full name by hand after printing the form.

Can anyone let me know how to get PCC from Navi Mumbai? Do we have to get PCC from Passport Office?
What is the process of it?

Yes. Passport office is in Thane, Wagle Estate (for Navi Mumbai).
Go to passport site and book appointment for PCC

you will need to login. First read instructions at http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp

then go to passport office and complete the formalities. Likely that you will get PCC the same day.

Are you sure it's only '$' and not CAD of something else which is the problem...
I'm going to get an heart attack...last week i've asked as many as 50 people in bank and over phone banking about DD, i've also sent ICICI DD and nearly 50% said it's valid for 3 months as per RBI...but again many said the international DDs are valid for 6 months. also one forumite got DD charged after 3 months and was from ICICI....so really tensed and confused ...guys help those who have got DD from ICICI charged after 3 months...

Both USD DD and CAD DD have same sign "$" . Check for the issue place .. It must be Toronto

International DD's are valid for six months from the date of issue.

You must understand that 3 months rule is applicable only in India .

More over CAD DD is simply a cheque of a Canadian Bank with fund assurance signed by the responsible officer of a tie up bank in an overseas country.

So this instrument don't have any connection with RBI..

Don't worry........it's 6 Months ...

What is the question in the form in exact words? The answer will depend on that.

@ zland, Re: 47-49 Dorchester. You are FINE.

I also used UPS, shipped to 49 Dorchester (per the FSW application instructions), and the delivery confirmation said it was delivered to 47 Dorchester. Now, I knew both 47 and 49 are both part of the CIO. But I was still worried that it had been delivered to the wrong building by accident.

I called UPS and they put me in touch with the local UPS office for that region. Turns out the CIO takes ALL mail (for both 47 and 49) at 47 ONLY.

Mine was delivered May 23rd. CC was charged Sept 8th. I received PER today. Last month I both called and emailed CIO bc I was afraid my app had been lost in the office, and didn't get anywhere with either method. So unfortunately, like we've all experienced, it's a waiting game until the CC is charged and the PER received.

I think CIC is keeping in their mind the 3 months validity, if any. Can you tell when was your app rejected, the exact date, and also was your DD issued not more that 1 month ago of you app sent date.??

Not Passport Office,

it will be obtained from Commissioner of Police

Today only one CC charged reported and that is for 30th May. What happen to 29th May?

Even my application was received on 21st May. (I still have to correct it on Excel file. I am not able to edit it.)
I sent DD with it. There are many others like me for NOC 2173 whose apps were received on 21st May.

I am too waiting........

My Application will reach CIO on September 22, 2014. My NOC is 2131 (Civil Engineer). Will it be safe I mean will it fall in Caps or?

Currently how many days It is taking for CC to be charged?
