I would advice you to be on safer side, get a fresh letter from your employer stating your job duties in each position held with specific period of time. Send the same as additional document with a cover letter stating the delivery details of your previous application name dob passport no etc. and request to add the fresh letter to your application.

Also send an email on the day your new letter is delivered at cio mentioning the courier details like waybill no. time received who received that courier ur passport number name dob etc attach a scanned copy in email also.

It better not to take any chance/risk. Only it will cost you the courier charge which very negligible compared ur case.

Thanks and +1 for this.... will send the same....now there is another worry seeing that DD is getting rejected ...is this for validity reason...Mine is also DD issued from HDFC but they said its of 6 months though it has no validity date.....thinking of sending the new payment as well.....

1) Yes, you can Include a service letter with an affidavit mentioning why you were not able to produce the roles and responsibilities on your letter head which is already explained in my post
2) If vo verifies, he will verify with the supervisor you are mentioning in your roles and responsibilities letter, they may call, email or visit your office. Do include xerox of his business card if not his id card with his signature on it
3) I have included the follwoing documents to be on a safer side since i was also on the same table as you were
- last 3 months salary slips
- last 3 years form 16's
- All company related letters like hike, appointment, offer or any other related

Nope i can't find the copy of DD..........fees i indicated was $550

You should call your bank and see if they tried to encash your DD. If everything was good, then I just cannot imagine why it would be rejected. My gut feeling still tells me you got the wrong email intended for somebody else.

I have sent my package in DHL on 11th Sep. The package has reached Canada. But the status is still not updated as delivered. NOC is 2173. Am little worried.

Dude, Call DHL. What are you waiting for ?

In all likelihood, they must have used some local courier service from Halifax, Nova Scotia region.

Are you sure it's only '$' and not CAD of something else which is the problem...
I'm going to get an heart attack...last week i've asked as many as 50 people in bank and over phone banking about DD, i've also sent ICICI DD and nearly 50% said it's valid for 3 months as per RBI...but again many said the international DDs are valid for 6 months. also one forumite got DD charged after 3 months and was from ICICI....so really tensed and confused ...guys help those who have got DD from ICICI charged after 3 months...

Also some boxes in the Economic Class form are too small to write occupation name, can this be written by hand or can anyone guide what could be done ??
