Hi,

My company is not giving letter with duties, instead they are giving service letter(with designation and dates),
Can I put the letter on a plain paper in CIC format and Will attach my senior colleague business card, along with company service letter. is it works?
In this case to whom CIC will contact either HR contact from service letter OR my colleague from the business card details.

Please advise.

they generally contact the person mentioning duties and responsibilities. But at times they have been known to contact HR as well in such cases.

Did you find the copy of the DD that you sent? It should have an expiration date (if not 6 months). Also, how much fee did you indicate?

im going to send document update to my file . which is better to send the document and wait till i got proof of delivery from UPS then i can send the email. or it's better to send the email while im submitting the document.

You let your first courier delivered. get all delivery details.
Then send additional documents with a covering letter stating your concern and request for including additional documents. Include all details about yourself so that they can easily identify you info like ur name passport number dob your first courier delivery date received by etc. via courier and let it delivery too and get delivery details.

After this also send an email and mention details of both couriers, request to add documents, dob passport no. Etc etc and request them to confirm the inclusion of additional documents.
Hope this will help, seniors plz ur inputs if I missed our anything

You are right ..Need to advise only if we are 200% sure. Few mistakes here are there are pardonable though...

This is called Ragging. You are 1000+ member and im struggling at not even 1/4 your level. If you call yourself Junior, then probably im not eligible to talk . We all are making valiant attempts to help others. I am sure super seniors (considering you as senior) will correct if something is not right.

NOC: 3012
Visa Office: Manila, Philippines

I would also like to share that I have printed my forms in 8.5 x 11 size of bond paper and used the print to page printing option in printing the Generic Application form. I also included the IELTS result of my spouse that will expire 3 days after the delivery of our application.

Thank you forum members especially to Century and Ashif for answering my questions when I first tried to seek answers in this forum. Thank you also to Varuen, cksmg, TangoCharlie, and Nepali for answering my post yesterday.

Quick question seniors. Please advise.

I just got my assessment back and it says for one of my degrees: "Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)" and for my MBA it says "Post Bachelor's Diploma".

In the general application form, what option corresponds to this? Master's Degree? Post Graduate - No degree? Bachelor's Degree?

Also, how many points do I get for CIC?

No, you are late..
CIO has already started initial screening of your application. They generally start screening much in advance. I remember one of 28th May applicant's relatives in Canada received a verification letter when 16th - 20th May was being charged.

Even if they have started screening, they may still consider additionally sent docs. At times, they are known to have considered docs even after screening was done. Cos, in case rejected, the file is not returned immediately. Hence they may consider additional docs if these can change the course of the application.

Also one more thing. Did you make the DD for the right amount as required for the number of your family member(s) included in the application?

Nope i can't find the copy of DD..........fees i indicated was $550
