Regarding the FBI - PCC.

My application to FBI office received by 20th of August. Still, They haven't charged my Credit Card (18 Dollar). Anybody has any experience about it.

As per the MR from NDVO, I need to send the PCC of US by 20 Oct 2014. Little worried, how to get it fast?

Typically u get in 4-5 weeks. Don't worry you will be just fine.

Just note that for translated BC, following is mandatory:
1. Notarized original translation done by certified translator.
2.Notarized Photocopy of BC
3. Affidavit by translator (recommended)

I am a May 7th Applicant received MR today. My ecas status changed yesterday and Line 2 was added.

Line two was added in my ecas on Friday but I haven't received MR till date

There is possibly one case in the forum where VO asked detail job for each position. Possibly, VO will also asked to you too for the same.

You may also consider sending the detail position-wise JD as additional document to CIO.

While sending the application in Reference letter, I have mentioned below things -

- Letter is on company letter head
- signed by my supervisor
- has complete company address
- specific period since I am working in the company
- positions held and the time period
- annual salary against each position
- Working time [Her normal working hours are between 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 45 minute lunch break]. This is also mentioned in my offer letter which I have sent. [This is common for all positions]
- I have mentioned 9 bullet points summerizing my duties. this is again common. I have not mentioned duties for each position.

Is it okay? I am worried now. My application is received on 11th June.

Would like to know how many months it takes to get the PR Visa ...bcoz one of the Indian consultant was telling me it might take years (3+) as CANADA HIGH COMMISION has many previous years applicants in the pipeline...

my application was received on 9th sept ...i applied thro a canadian consultant ...but i stay in India.....now i am confused....please someone enlighten me ...bcoz the consultants r confusing and they are targeting for money....

When the 2014 applicant who filed the documents on 9th sept 2014 expected to get the PER ??

After getting PER , generally how many months or years it takes to get the visa stamped ???

My designation in the company is Senior Software Engineer. But the duties that I performed falls under NOC 2172 Database analyst. I understand duties are assessed verify if applicant's NOC is right or wrong.

But on statcan website
It is clearly specified for NOC 20172 under Exclusion(s) that "Software engineers and designers (2173)" is excluded and my designation is listed under NOC 2173.

I need to clarify if I should be worried about this or if it's totally fine?

Please help.

Hi Rahul,

As far as I understand, the designation does not matter. Your duties reflected in the Work Experience letter provided by your employer must match those specified under the NOC 2172 (at least 80% is what I have been told)

So PCC needs to be sent when VO asks for it. What is the usual timeline? When will VO ask for it? I still need to to apply for PCC from Indian consulate in Washington DC and it could take 4-8 weeks to receive it.

Check this spreadsheet for trends for the current applications. You will be at ease knowing that some applicants have already received MR from NDVO. YOu application will likely be processed in a few months.
