As per SS, CIC has started processing 29th May.

As per our understanding, CIC is reviewing apps in the order they were received.....hence, it means tht all apps rcvd on 28th May are atleast reviewed & counted/removed in/from CAP (even if they are pending to be charged OR, pending for courier to be sent back to applicant)...

Now, my question is :
If application is rejected, does CIC send a mail before dispatching the application envelope back to applicant ????

If yes, then all the applicants (on or before 28th may) who have not rcvd any communication frm CIC can assume that their app will be charged for sure....(not talking abt PER or NER)

If NO, then ignore my post

I sent the bank certificates with my account and balance details. But the certificates contained account details in in the local currency and not the Canadian dollars. Was it mandatory to have attached accounts details equivalent in CAD..? WORRIED :'(

No, supporting can be in any currency. However in the Schedule 3 form, where you have to enter Assets, Liabilities and Settlement Funds, there you mention the funds in CAD equivalent.

In the NOC by Rcvd Date tab of the SS, I am looking at the NOCs 2173 and 2174 and the totals dont match. For eg - for 2173, the total I am getting for apps received until today is 281 while it shows 307!

Is there something wrong with my eyes or is there a problem with the SS?
