Hi everyone. Hoping for someone to have answers to these:
1. Does the VO do background checks, PCC and review medical results only? Or do they assess the entire application again? What are the possible reasons for rejection at the VO stage?
2. From the PER email, it states that we need to notify the VO of any changes and that includes a change in employer as well. I moved to another company (still a nurse, but higher position) just July of this year. Shall I notify the VO of this through a letter? I plan to send a letter regarding the change and attach a copy of my COE. I just want to verify this before doing anything. Hehe.

Language test results expired 17 days after the application has been received.

This means, they now want the IELTS to be valid till the date it is received at CIC
Am i right?

if your noc is not filling quickly ....its safe to wait for IELTS results to be included

actually I have another one yewr exp. As prod. Engg and updated the same reference letter with job duties today.....so overall 3 yrs exp.

Just inform them and raise the point what you think ...........i believe they will definitely take appropriate decision in your favour..........

Reality is setting in for the HOT NOCs.

Something else than the nails to chew for you guys.

Based on unitary proportion of the number of days taken to reach thus far (<a href="http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asplasted update">latest update</a>), these are the predictions for the number of days left for each NOC.

Enjoy. Relax. Laugh. But don't let the worry take toll on you.

While hot NOC folks can't be stopped to worry, but the cold NOC folks should get rest assured that if CIC continues to receive and process applications at this rate, their NOCs won't be filled by the millennium end, or atleast until global warming converts Canada into Dubai, in which case you won't bother about it anyhow.

Yah Grooby, looking bleak for me too...... Lets sit tight and watch the events turn around us. Good Luck to you!!

I was confident 2171 will run all september...and I was expecting 2171 to be only 215-220 range...but with the latest estimates at 233, all analytics tell me it will not cross 1st week of September...and that is too sad! Let's still keep our hopes alive and wait for the trend coming Monday!

I have submitted the application IMM 0008(03-2014)E on 07/17/2014. But the latest application to that date was IMM 0008(06-2014).

I am worried if my application will be returned?

Should I submit the application right away?

BTW, as per the SS, no 0015 application is received within May. 18/6 is the earliest received 0015 application.
