I just got home from work and I saw the CIC CAP updates....... What a shocker ... !!!

Good and Bad .....

Good: CIC is processing applications at a much faster pace:
Bad: NOC1112 may not go on till July18th, No 29th May CC charge yet ....

I am a real positive guy but I think 18th July look difficult .....

It really could have been a better monday ..... :(

Don't give up bro.

No news is bad news until you hear something from CIC.

Cheers :D

Hi !! can I know how did you fill up the form, i mean if you did not have your kids Passport... they number, expiry etc. I think there is a chance of rejection if they consider it as incomplete documents... but if you are in your home country and u mentioned that they dont have passport.. just an ID card.. then there is no issue.. u dont need to send it now

Absolutely correct!!! I mentioned that they dont have passports and gave their BC's.

Hope it will not create a problem... As both kids are under 2years...

@ Canol,

I think there is something which is not very encouraging. If the cap updates are PERs, then I think cap for 2171 would reach by 1st week of august. Let me explain how:

1. PERs as per excel sheet - 48 till date
2. PERs as per CIC - 233 till date
3. PERs as per excel sheet to reach cap - 206. This will fill the 1000 cap for CIC

As per our SS, by 11th Aug, 206 apps have been filled. Even if we take 5% rejection, I am still not in contention.

This is the most frustrating part about Canada immigration. It is not transparent at all.

We were so much off the mark when we tried to predict based on earlier weeks data and based on SS.
Nevertheless Buddy, still sure that you will make it !!!

5th June is cakewalk buddy. You will be in CAP for sure.

Hi Canol,

When do you think the application for 2174 should have reached to be on safer side ???
because my application reached them on 23rd july. in case if they have to return the application due to cap limit, will they update us through e-mail or do we just have to wait for the documents to reach us on our address ???

Probably you didn't select FSW package at WES, which covers this already.

Hi everyone,
Today I got a mail from WES saying that
"In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your application, they will need to review your evaluation report through using WES's online service. In order to allow CIC to access this service, you will need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your WES evaluation report.
If you are using the attached order form and want to pay by credit card, please fax the completed form to 416.972.9004"

What is this any idea??
Help Please

Hi Members,

Let me first congratulate all of those who got PERs and Visas issued till now and Best of luck to remaining people.

I am new to this forum and really amazed to see how senior members and others are helping each other. Cheers to you guys.

I have a query, the fees for my application was sent through DD but the amount was paid by my Mother and her name was written on the DD instead of mine. Will that be an issue for rejection or CIC will consider my application?

Does that matter if the principal applicant is paying the fees or not? I have shown funds in my account only.

Its only the DD that was paid from my mother's account as I did not have account in the Bank from where I got the DD

HI,
If you had filled the fee payment from with proper details - payer name as it is different etc. it is nothing to worry

I answered you earlier. passport is a required document for all the family members. Not submitting passport will lead to rejection due to incomplete application. Birth certificate is not a travel document. So birth certificate won't substitute for a passport and vice versa (I am sure you have heard of rejections due to not having birth certificate). You will need to send the copies ASAP and ask them to be combined with your application.

With my limited knowledge , I can suggest you to get the letter from your colleague. Business card is not mandatory but would be good if you could provide. Provide as many supporting documents as possible as per the checklist

To be honest I don't even know who came up with the idea of providing letters from colleagues on white paper. It was smart and is working like a charm .

All the best!

Thanks mate... +1

I guess, the difference was in the denominator. Instead of 48, we might have taken 96 or something like that. But, actual PERs registered in the sheet are only 48, hence revised calculations. Unless something is not right in my calculations, my chances are not very optimistic.......

Thank you for your time though.
