Recently got this info regarding FSW 2014
I am a Mechanical Engineer and planning to apply
I am taking my IELTS on oct 18
Is it too late??? What do you guyz say....

Apply ASAP as 2132 is one of the 5 top favourite NOCs and may fill up sooner than we are thinking.

What is "interview date & location" in the spreadsheet? How do I need if interview is waived in our case? I have already received my CPR and VISA.

Leave blank in that case or mention as waived.

I have questions with regards to my Police clearance certificate. Due to time consuming process, I avoided sending it along with my application.

Now what would be the best time to send? Should apply for it now and send it when I get the PCC or should I wait till then ask for it?

Also, if I am applying for new passport which is expiring after 9 months, should I send the copy of new passport to them as soon as I receive it?

Send the details to VO once they ask for the same after you get PER.

There is one thing that you forget in your calculation: There are around 25% of users who initially put an entry into the spreadsheet when their file arrived but no longer make updates. In fact of those listed in the ss for 2171, around 60-70 people should have received PER by now.

True!! If they have received it. That is very optimistic. Thanks for that. Even if it is 60 instead of 48, i would still make it.........

But, its all building in the clouds. No one knows the truth, till they get charged to start with......... then it is a different anxiety which starts

I just got home from work and I saw the CIC CAP updates....... What a shocker ... !!!

Good and Bad .....

Good: CIC is processing applications at a much faster pace,
Bad: NOC1112 may not go on till July18th, No 29th May CC charge yet ....

I am a real positive guy but I think 18th July looks difficult .....

It really could have been a better monday .....

Posting this again as no response received so far in last 100+ pages...

Getting reference letter from current employer /manager will adversly affect my job & pay.
I can get the same from colleague but he is not having his business card or letter head.

I plan to get reference email showing his company email address & signature in it. what other documents I should put to convince my case & not loosing points.
Also should I mention this reason, as I dont want CIC to approach my HR or manager for this reason, however everything is genuine & so I dont have nothing to hide.

Any successful applicant/consultant with similar case, pls suggest..
