Hi Canol,

can you please let me know why it's a bi risky to go with 00 NOCs? especially if your job duties match with what they need in this role.

Regards,
Ahmed

Hi Ahmed,

00 NOCs are reserved for senior management. You may feel you belong to senior management, but if CIC doesn't feel the same way, then your application might get rejected. Hence I said risky.
Anyways, if you are confident that you fit into the top management bracket, go ahead and apply. :) All the best..

PCC is always to be issued from current residential address. Not passport address. So do not worry. you are safe.

Thank GOD! I'm relieved, otherwise i was thinking of renewing her passport with new address.

Thanks CanOI :D

While there are some happy stories here I have a more basic question - WES has evaluated my education whilst completely ignoring my post-graduate diploma. It's not even there on the list of 'rejected' documents, its almost as if they never got it. This is especially strange since I had myself sent all of the transcripts together. As a result I've only got a Bachelor's degree equivalent.

My question -

1. How do I trace this back from WES, since repeated emails to them have gone unanswered and their phone number is always unreachable.

2. Are they likely to do a re-evaluation based on some mistake at their end?

Anyone having any idea, do help.

Hello All,

I am new to this forum, so first of all congratulations to all who have revd their MRs', PERs' , CC/DD charged....

I sent my application on Sept 02,2014 n the same was delivered to CIO on Sept 10,2014 ( as per the DTDC courier records)... I wanted to know whether i wud recv any confirmation/receipt from CIO stating my application has been revd by them or will it be some reply after 2-3months..

Thanks
Preet

I was wondering why members from China are far less than expected, while the case should be exactly opposite. Because NVDO is having 42% share of applications,Beijing Office should be having relatively higher % . Maybe regulated internet over there is one of the reasons but still its gonna affect overall effectiveness of SS.What you guys think.

Yeh, regulated internet over there is one of main reason. We can't do anything about it.

However, as long as SS is concerned, we got enough sample population to understand the overall population nature. In my view, there is no issue on this.

you will be informed once your CC/DD is en cashed and after than you will receive UCI number for tracking your application.
So overall you have to wait for few months and rest you can see estimated times from SS. that will be really helpfull and do update your details in SS.

You have to wait for your ECAS to be updated. CIO don't send confirmation communication to applicants.

I'd think IELTS requirements is a constraint for chinese applicants. Internet regulation is not really an issue for forums like these so I guess its just that not many chinese apply for this due to eligibility.

WES timelines are also a good indicator of number of applications for FSW. Many of us have received our evaluated reports in reasonable time so im just guessing number of applications must have been less

You can check with the Courier guys for the shipment tracking.

If your application pass the eligibility criteria, CIC will send you a Positive Eligibility Review (PER) mail within 2-3 months.

All the best

I had applied for WES in april and i got report within 10 days. But i think WES is currently taking 45-60 days to prepare report due to heavy rush of applications.
