Hi friends, my file reached CIC on 4 June...I sent additional documents to add my spouse BC affidavit on 29 August. However I sent mail to cic and also sent fax to add the additional documents. But still now no response. Really worried whether my package was returned while doing preliminary check or will they back date my application . By the way what is the expected date for charging cc to June 4 applicants. NOC 1114.

Brother, you file can be rejected after PER, and even when landing, and even after getting PR.

So, let's not concentrate on negative.

They have charged means your documents are complete. It was the biggest hurdle for you. Once you pass that, now be positive. My gut feeling - you will be OK.

Cheers

Thanx but you cannot convince me, coz its not a brother here, its a SISTER... :)

and literature is full of our pessimism......

but positive response does work bro...
thank you

Thanks Red. In that case, if they are coming the future, I have procure one then, may be. I am anyway getting mine, hence will try and get it done for my spouse as well. It is not very costly either.

Point to ponder... its not about money..its about time.... if its in future..then whats the point in getting them now..? as the pcc n mr need to be latest..n will be needed at the time of submitting application.

hey..just got to know a strange thing from a lawyer based in Canada ( i/he may be completely wrong ) . Just thought whats wrong in sharing and knw if its even true. He told me that out of 25000 only 11000 will count towards open entry in FSW..rest is reserved for people with arranged employment n all..I repeat i may be wrong..

True. If at all there is a mail from Local VO, will that clearly mention who all need to submit PCC? If, for some weird reason, they ask for PCC for my spouse as well, dont you think it will be too short a time to get it?

Guys..
For the addresses lived in the past 10 years . I have lived in the same home for more than 10 years.. should I leave that blank ?? As my current address is already mentioned in the form..

Hi All,

My application reached on 19th May NOC 2174 But till date I have not received any information.
It means I m not in the list? i also applied last year but due to CAP reach it returned back :(.
One of my friend told me that she has a specific contact number of CIC where she called and got information about her file.
Is there really such a number exists?? where we can know the status of our application.
I have also seen people are able to check the status of there file with UCI number even though they have not received PER mail.

Kindly give some suggestions either I have to wait only or any other way to know about application status?
Thanks..

Put is as "till present"

Sorry sister. I get confused with the name Shahzad.

My literature is telling that anybody can get rejected before citizenship - so it is not worthy to think on negative.
