you don't need to get a new PCC if your certificate doesn't expire when it would be required / requested for submission by the Visa Office...

FSW MAILING ADDRESS

I mailed my application via DHL to the address given with 'regular mail' as I never realized that there is another address for couriers.My shipment has been delivered and after this blunder I don't understand what to do. I am really tensed what will happened now. Will my application get lost somewhere or will reach to its destination? Please help me...anyone who is sure about the answer

PCC should not be more than 3 months old when you submit it even if it is valid for 1 year.

But I guess only if it is submitted to CIO at the time of filing application, otherwise PCC will lasts till its expiry..

From the Guidelines

"Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO (Centralized Intake Office),
please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are
generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your
application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new
one"

Exactly my point. When VO requests it it should not be more than 3 months old.

First of all, don't panic.
Just call DHL and tell them about your new address. They will deliver as per your given new address. Same happened to me and they redirected parcel to another address.

I have made a mistake while sending my application.
