Dear guys,

In my educational certificate there are some minor issues in the ways my name is stated.
My name is MOHAMED ISHAK VALIYAPARAMBIL as per the passport, But in both of my SSLC as well as graduation certificate the surname is abbreviated as VP. Besides in my post graduation certificate they have mentioned my name as MOHAMMED ISHAK. There is no surname plus one M extra in MOHAMED

1. I understood earlier from this forum that I can I submit a notarized affidavit stating about all the above. Should this affidavit be sworn by me (self declaration) or my parent?

Single affidavit by you explaining all of the above, should be sufficient.

Yes, when VO requests, it shouldn't be more than 3 months old. But if you have already submitted PCC along with the application, and at the time of Visa decision, it is still valid, then I interpret from their website, they will not ask another one. Seniors can share their views..

I have made a mistake while sending my application. I mailed my application to the address given with 'regular mail' from DHL instead sending it to the address given with courier option as I never realized there would be another address for courier. I don't know was it a silly one or really a blunder. Please guide me what to do now? Am I out of the game after this? Please help me

If its not reached the destination yet, ask your Courier Service to redirect to the new address.
I have seen posts here, that people have sent the package to P.O.Box address and the package was redirected internally to the correct department.

Hello People,
I have a couple of questions for those who have recieved MR from NDVO (New Delhi Visa Office):

1. How are we supposed to send the required documents to Canada High commision, Shanti Path, New Delhi? i.e. via courier or visit?
2. The address on which we need to send the docs is:
Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India ? Is that correct?

3. The medical forms have a place where we need to affix our photograph. Is this a standard passport size photograph or the one with Canadian specifications (white background and specific size)?

2. Address is correct
3. In my opinion if your doctor is eMedical enabled then you don't need a photograph, it will be clicked there, it not eMedical enabled then passport size photograph is ok.

I'm 30 July applicant for NOC 1111.

I have just realised that I have not included a copy of my degree certificate with my WES report.

Will my application be returned or will they request the notarised copy when they working through my application?

Yes, the app will be returned, there are already few cases reported rejection for the same reason. You can also check Remarks section in the SPreadSheet, where people have entered this as the reason for rejection.

However, If your app was reached after mid-June, you still have time to send additional documents to CIC to be added to the previous package. We have seen reports of some people successfully doing so and have received PER.

Don't worry bro, Even I had this issue. When 10th May were processing and I was 8th May applicant. I got my PER late.
Don't loose hope. Keep trust on god and you'll have your PER soon in your inbox!

Infact one 9th May applicant has also received MR (from Manila) before the earlier dates applicants !!

If VO is different then that is OK... But there are so many 7th may and earlier date applications pending at NDVO and getting MR for 8th May is really a great as well as strange news ... Overlap of dates will happen but at later stage when there are very few application pending for prior dates...At present almost 60 applications are pending for MR at NDVO prior to starting of 8th May.... Now I have a feeling that at NDVO it is kind of NOC specific...

My appointment letter (ex-employer) states that commencement of employment shall start from 11th July, 2012
However, in my experience letter (ex-employer), it states that I was employed from 07th July, 2012 upto xxx.

IS this a PROBLEM?
OR IS IT OK.

@ Sidsun, can you update the correct date for MR - It is currently 12/9 (implying December 09th).

Read it as 9/12... dd/mm, mm/dd issue...
