did any one send document updated and they refused to attach it to the application . my noc is 2171 and i'm not sure whether to keep my file onthe way or to get it back and update it.

my file is in canada now but they didn't deliver yet

No zland, no one so far has reported CIC confirming them about not able to attach file. Its just that there is a risk involved in it. If you are more comfortable taking this risk, as opposed to your NOC reaching the cap if sent 2 week later, then its your decision.

The thing to weigh here, is what mistakes you made here and if its big enough, to be rejected, if CIC for some reason is not able to attach the addendum docs.

Could you list down the mistakes you made in your app?

wat's holding u till mid OCT,
we never know what could be next, but looking at present numbers, yes still there are hopes for 2171,
but be on top of ur tasks, get documents organized ASAP

Yes maple you are right .

When i decided to use CC as payment option, i checked with my bank first, with whom i am in good and old relation as a user, that i am applying for FSW and will use your card and told them please don't do any changes in it or do anything with it for next 6 months. I revised credit limit and now it is 3 times of fees require and then i safely put my card in locker in my home. And every month i check with my bank and tell them to do nothing with my card or with my account.

Manish, while I appreciate your efforts to keep a good relationship with your bank, you need to understand that decisions to block cards or issue new cards is a matter of policy and not dependant on your RM.

I am not saying that every card will be blocked or replaced. In fact the chances are very low. But why take a risk ?

Anyways now that you have already taken this calculated risk, weighing all pros and cons, I would wish you good luck.

I had bad news in April I sent my application and forgot to include translation for my common law partner as her birth certificate is in Danish. My whole pack got returned and I lost 4 weeks for CIO to send it back, 2 weeks for translation to be obtained and sent back to CIO. By this time the May FSW floodgates opened and my FSW2 app took over three months to have CC charge.

So had I realised my error I could have missed the May flood, but as they say sh @ t happens

very difficult to call back your courier....wait for application file to be deliver and send additional documents mentioning your noc, date of receipt, passport number , date of birth , email id, Name and Address etc.............

2173 also looks okay ... but 2171 would be better ... will let you stay a little relaxed about the wait ....

the only mistake that i have include a translated english version of my birth certificate which has been transalted by ministry of health and population in my country(egypt). some of my friends did the same and they have been accepted. but i just reallised that even english version is wirtten on the footer of it that it's a transalted version and i didn't send the arabic version...


My noc is 2171

so my options is to get the file back and lose two weeks
or send addtional documents

I think it depends on the bank, I asked my bank to note their system of the future CIC payment and it was approved without issue

Cause of rejection if I had staple all papers of one form? I am really tensed about this issue. I send all the papers of form by staple. For example GENERAL APPLICATION FORM 1 to 5 page stapled. :-(

1. though not mandatory, I have sent copies of old and new passport.

2. Yes do sent 10th and 12th mark sheets also.

3. Paperclips are very much allowed.

4. Envelope size if different will not be a reason for rejection. Relax.

Do we need to notarize passport copy?
