No one from 1st May NDVO applicants have got MR so far whereas fellow forum members from 5th 7th May are getting.

Is there anything wrong? is there anything we can do to prompt NDVO to look at earlier date cases?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

1. is it to late to apply for NOC 2281 by oct/nov as i am stil awaiting WES. Computer network technician seems to have picked up speed but you coud just get in if the application is made fast. It appears over 130 PERs have been issued on it which means there are a number of applications received yet to be processed

2.We have submitted an application as my husband to be the principal applicant and want to submit another as me to be the principal applicant and British council says they cnt release another IELTS test report form pls how do i go about it. as we nid points for that too. Did you explain that it's needed for immigration purposes?

Thanks for ur reponses.

Hi Again

As I am new here I am not sure if this has already been answered or not, some inputs on it will be highly appreciated.

Til date has anybody received their application back from CIO-NS due to incomplete info etc. If yes how many days does it usually take to receive a reply in "completeness check" phase of CIO.

Also how would one get to know when charge has been made if its DD. As I am aware my bank in delhi- HDFC bank has already debited $550 from my account the date it was made, how will I get to know when the DD is honored.

Thanks

Yes, many in fact. YOu can check the spreadsheet for details of such returned applications. CIC does not inform you about the incomplete application; it just sends your application back. This might take any amount of time, a few weeks to a couple months from when CIC checks your application.

You will need to ask the bank to find out if the DD has been cashed.

Hi Friends,

As we have 50 NOC's my question is don't CIC have enough VO to handle each NOC??? My application reached on August 13th and looking at the forum my CC would be charged somewhere in January. But my consultant told me 60-90 days max. After May and June I see lessapplications received by CIC. Does that mean the processing time would come down or would remain the way it is now???

Please shed some light on this friends.

Thanks

To answer your second question, the estimated charge date has been updated in the SS based on current CIC speed. YOur application will likely be charged some time in November.

To answer your first question, the initial completeness check would be regardless of NOC. Ideally it would be great if CIC had more personnel working for it but oh well!

Experience ---- Police Verification for PCC:
Luckily I got a call yesterday for Police Verification for my PCC request. (My district police acting fast ahaaan)

Easy job there, Go with all your proofs possible specially he insisted on Ration card copy. Along with that 10th certificate, passport copy, aadhar car id copy and one surprising thing that he mentioned in the call itself, An affidavit with details of PCC, country applied for.

Then he handed me two papers for witnesses (i did not take my witnesses with me as the guy suggested that you can do it yourself by visiting them in your neighbourhood). And asked me to come with those papers with sign and address of two witnesses. He insisted on one thing again and again: Leave your wife home when you come to hand over these papers. I got his clue (he wanted his commission)

So finally after getting signatures i got back and he told me now everything is complete and he will transfer the docs to PSK. and then made a gesture that these are two docs so pay whatever you want. Paid 600 bucks... and came to office now..

Finally karma allowed to give you +1 bro :)

Dear Rajaram, These process steps are unpredictable mate so the expectation that May 1st will ALWAYS move ahead of all May 7th cases is in itself flawed. Remember they work on several dates at a time, be it at Fee Charge stage or PER stage so will continue to do so now and even in later stages.

No one thought it was wrong when just being 2-3 days earlier in application receipt at CIC, one got 1.5 to 2 months ahead of the May 7th guys, or any sequence folks for that matter. It seemed all too well then!!! :)

There is a deluge of May 7th cases at NDVO too in comparison with a handful May 1st cases (remember CIC too had nightmares about finishing the May 7th files?) so these files have been likely distributed among many VO guys where as all May 1st and 2nd might be with one guy who is reviewing them one after the other. So, don't worry is all I can say!!!

We can't do anything to change how they work! Good luck to all you early birds, as I know it doesn't seem justice right now, but percentage wise I think May 7th are still not too high is my guess. Cheers!

Guys, a question. A cousin of mine is a July applicant for the HR Manager category (I don't remember the NOC). A month after applying, he left his job and doesn't plan on doing a regular 9-5 job anymore. He has about 9 years experience in HR related jobs previously. Anyhow, his current vocation is that he plans on constructing and selling homes - a very lucrative business in his hometown of Lahore, for those who are familiar with the market. The question he asks now is that, if and when time comes for MR etc, he would have to inform VO about him leaving his job. So, how does he categorize this current state of earning? Would he say he's unemployed - he's doing one house at a time, so it can't be called a business, I guess. ( no salary slips, regulated earning etc etc). Any ideas??
