Of all the calculation I've been doing and the numbers tend to hover in my head.. I'll put the numbers as follows for the CIC process moving forward taking into account the drop in applications after 22nd May and 16th June:
NOC2174: 60-70applications/week after 22nd May and decreasing further after 16th June
NOC1112: 40-50applications/week after 22nd May and decreasing considerably further after 16th June

So, NOC2174 should fill by early august and NOC1112 by end of August. You should be able to see this in the form of the number of accepted applications by CIC in their CAP updates and the difference between the two NOC should begin to grow from next CAP update onwards(15th Sep)
Current difference stands at about 19 (518 & 537). Previous CIC update difference between NOC112, NOC2174 respectively:
8/12/2014: 198, 197 = -1
8/18/2014: 292, 313 = 21
8/25/2014: 382, 404 = 22
9/02/2014: 460, 481 = 21
9/08/2014: 518, 537 = 19

Expecting this difference to considerably widen with 2174 leading the way......

I don't buy your philosophy of 50 pers in one week technically is of 2 days

As I always say "nothing personal "
But let's hope majority of mates get through and I suggest to all software professional.. Now onwards try to apply for 2172 , if they can manage oracle or any any other backend job responsibilities in their resume .

I still think let's not attack aha as the intention is ONLY TO HELP and saving someone from making a blunder while there is still time. Just my view!!

One cannot always choose words to everyone's liking. Humor is part of the game, I never mind if people make fun of me. Some people already do that I believe, and I don't mind it.

Let's increase our appetite for humor and ability to take jokes, nothing bad with this.

Try interacting with some Canadians in other parts of the forum, they will rip clothes off with their sarcasm. We all need to prepare ourselves for the Canadian experience and what better way to start than on this very forum. I believe people need to shed their narrow minded focus and be open to criticism at times.

If I call someone else to be ready to be flipping burgers in Canada, in my mind I have already prepared myself for cleaning toilets/ windows or flipping burgers at a McDonalds in Canada. Point is be OPEN, from here on as things won't happen just how one is used to!!!! In a new country and new surroundings be open to newer styles please. Cheers!!

What one says and how the other person receives it up to their personal sensitivities. We can't change them, any attempts will also be waste. Heckling at some one in a forum of thousands of people is deplorable behavior (apologies, didn't see any humor). Sarcasm, criticism, stripping, etc, will be dealt with in the fitting manner, which ever country it is. One does not need to go below his dignity. I have no more comments to offer.

How the -1 will help in selection of CC... I am ready to accept -10 if it is going to help anyone or reducing the risk in using CC instead of DD...

Once you do -1, the CC is automatically converted to a DD in your envelope overnight while it is laying under the CIC's cold storage.

This is what one of my friend says but I dont agree.
I hope this satisfies your appetite for more humour.
If not, let me know, i can try to be better next time.

Hi Guyz,

I received my MR from NDVO today and they asked me to submit all the documents within 45 days. I am 7th May applicant.

Question:

I sent my FBI finger print request and it reached on 22nd July. My CC was charged on 22nd Aug. I havent received the report yet. How long does it take for the FBI request now-a-days?

I dont wanna take any chance and so I am gonna send another FBI request tomorrow. If I dont receive FBI clearance letter in another 45 days, Can I state the reason to NDVO to buy some more time ??? Plz adv
