Hi everyone,

So I am in the process of obtaining fingerprints for the FBI clearance here in NJ,US.Went to the local police station and was informed that they dont do fingerprinting anymore and that it has been outsourced to some private agency where I need to take appointment and I believe wait for fingerprints. Anyone got their fingerprinting done lately in US? Can you please advise ?

I also need to get a PCC for UAE. Do I send them the fingerprinting card from US as in the form that US authorities give? How do I go about UAE PCC from US? Anyone in UAE can help? Any agency does this work??

Ashafee - Any knowledge about UAE PCC? I need it done for both me and my husband.

Many Thanks

Thank you :)
I've just checked your recent posts to read your prediction. Pretty cool. Was it just a guess, or did you calculate it somehow? If it's a calculation, I'd be interested to see your method :)

I did a rough calculation. I took the number of applications from now until June 17th and calculated the rate of chargings for the same number of applications in the immediate past. This took me back to a month in the past, so I assumed that if CIC worked with the same speed then it should be about a month from now for 17th June!

Hi,
I have a question,According to my work experience my designation was insurance manager noc 0121 but my job responsibilities was of insurance sales supervisor noc 6231 (noc b),which occupation i can use for my fedral application,as i have arranged employment in noc 0621.
A valid offer of arranged employment (Check validity factors for your situation at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp?expand=arranged#arranged) will suffice to be considered Under CIC FSW. You will fit Under the arranged employment group and not the NOC Category.
However, do not forget to mention your Primary NOC 2011 Code:0621 in Schedule3 and on your enveloppe!!

Good Luck, Bro!!

If you are applying through arranged employment, you should mention the NOC that your employment belongs to. For this stream, the occupation does not have to be in the list of 50.

Hi Mate,

Can you please first clarify how one can have job duties of an insurance sales supervisor and yet work as a retail store manager in Canada? I mean they sound like two different jobs, so how are two jobs possible unless these are both part-time, or what am I not understanding right here? Please help clarify!

Or are you saying although your LMO is for a retail store manager job you are working in the role of an insurance manager but actually doing duties of an insurance sales supervisor. In that case it seems LMO on job and actual job role can vary? :o

Thanks in advance for the clarification!

PS - Or may be you are an insurance manager acting as a sales supervisor at a retail store that offers insurance - is that how it is?

I believe the OP has arranged employment through his current employer, and this is for NOC 0621. Thus, he should be using this NOC for FSW application. His other experience in NOC 6231 (the insurance stuff) are in the past and shouldn't matter in his case except if he wants points for work experience.

I will clarify you again

I was working as a insurance manager(designation) noc 0621 in a company back in india, but my jobs and responsibilities in that designation matches with insurance sales supervisor(noc 6231) according to cic.

Now i am in canada with arranged employment (noc 0621)

My question is can i claim points for my work experience because insurance manager and insurance sales supervisor comes under noc 0 & b,

and

while submitting my file which category should i select and on which form.

i just did my pcc frm usa
search for companies who do fingerprints in nj, call them and ask for fd-258 fingerprintcards.
if they have fd-258 cards then take electronic fingerprints frm them................. now along with other forms which fbi has askd on their website, send the package to fbi.... go to fbi website for complete info

I am showing part of settlement funds as EPF from my previous employer.

when I download the passbook it gives me the statement till October 2013

I am not working in India since July 2013.

the website ask for some UAN Number to get the latest PF statement. I dont have this UAN Number as I havent got it from my previous employer. seems UAN has been recently introduced.

The website states

http://uanmembers.epfoservices.in/index.php

Dear EPF Members !!

• EPFO has launched an Universal Account Number (UAN) based Member Portal to provide a number of facilities to its members through a single window
• Activate your registration to avail various facilities such as UAN card download, member passbook, updation of KYC information etc.
• As of now, only active members (contribution received through ECR for the wage month October 2013 onwards) would be able to register themselves.
• For registration, obtain UAN from your employer alongwith your member ID.
• Your mobile number would be required to activate registration.

So how should I explain to CIC about these facts and convince them that it is a latest statement I am sending dated October '2013.

Please suggest

Does it make sense that applicants in the SS from the month of May and June are mostly applicants from previous FSWP program and knows this forum for a long time resulting to a pretty good percentage vs. actual CIC count while worldwide applicants from July down to september are new ones (mostly has no idea about this forum and the SS) and thus the drastic decline in the SS applicants? will this mean that SS accuracy and reliabilty from July to September will be much much lower compared to the reliability of the May to June sample size?

Does my observation make sense?

I'm making my own calculations on 25% :) but no one is sure. what we are sure about is that the SS is saying something useful, and it is far better than you sit in dark counting the starts guessing. what the SS is saying also is that the numbers of applicants in May is far far high than the other month, August as the least applicants and the first week of September is less than the first week of August
