Sr. pls help....

I have total 14 years of work experience in IT out of which relevant experience for “NOC 2281 - Network technician “ 6 years from 2002 to 2008 and rest as “project manager” from 2009 to date.

As per the CIC guidelines –
We will only process your FSW application if you have:
• at least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience
o in a single occupation,
o within the last 10 years,
o at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 edition of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC)
AND
1. You have this work experience in one of the eligible occupations,
Query 1:
My relevant experience is approx. 3.5 years if it has to be within the last 10 years and hence can only claim 11 points. Can I show my experience beyond 10 years to get max point 15 for my 6 years’ experience from 2002 to 2008, though this will fall prior to 10 years. Is that possible?

Query 2:
I checked with my previous organisation – CSC India, to provide me the work experience for 2002 to 2008 as per Canada immigration guidelines but they refused to provide the same. I saw that notorized self declartion will work? do i need to add manager's reference for verification or not required?

Query 3:
For work experience which I am not claiming any point e.g. project manager from 2009 to 2014, do I also need to collect same work experience as per CIC guidelines or I can submit the copy of original offer letter, experience letter and salary slips etc.

quick reply will be highly appreciated i am running out of time to apply....

Many thanks

@ Jess,

Pls refer to the "Note" in the Form Sch 3- Economic Classes (Q6, pg 1):

Note: For your Application to be considered complete, you must include proof of your completed foreign educational credentials AND an original ECA report from a designated organization ...

So must provide copies of Sr. secondary + BA Degree + BA Mark-sheets (Transcript- Optional) + Professional Cert. (Optional). else your Application will be returned as 'deemed incomplete'

Good luck !

I still a bit confused that if I stated those post-secondary studies I have attended in Form Sch 3 more than my ECA report listed, what should I send? send the certificate which only related to ECA report listed or send all post-secondary studies certificates?

Good Day to all,

A small suggestion...

I expect in the spreadsheet those who got PER shall be filtered based on the visa office and date respectively so that people will have a clear understanding of the particular visa office times. As there are many visa offices and their processing times vary.

If possible please try to do this.

As far as I know...
Answer 1: It doesn't matter whether you have 3.5 yrs or 6 yrs as long as you can show at least one year in the past 10 years. you will get full marks as you have more than 6 yrs of experience (not reqd to be essentially in the NOC you are applying)
Answer 2: Please contact answersindia@csc.com. They show everything other than compensation for which you can submit payslips and/or offer letter.
Answer 3: It is advised to submit work reference letters for at least 6 yrs (even though it is not the NOC you are claiming)
Please consider other advises as well.
Good luck

Hi everyone,
As our previously estimated Cap Full dates come closer for NOC 2173 and 2174, I felt like a single estimated Cap Full date per NOC doesn't really represent a complete range of possible outcomes. The existing estimates were mostly conservative/pessimistic, but in reality there can actually be much more room for more applications.

I've re-checked FSW 2013 data, made some additional calculations from FSW 2014 official cap data and cross-referenced all of it. As a result, I've added a second estimated Cap Full date, which is more realistic based on the observed data :) It's now in the spreadsheet, on the "Apps by NOC / Cap estimates" tab.

Interestingly enough, according to the calculations, cap for NOC 1112 does not gets full for applications received until New Year even in the pessimistic case.

If anyone is interested where did I get all the percentages for the estimates, here's a major part of my calculations (tables, formulas and charts):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11hVAKeHjNUWusOSeRdd7QWXpLiUJeHB8DmFSa2Zl_LI/edit#gid=270344101
Not all the values are named there, but I hope formulas speak for themselves for interested individuals.
Here's another part, for FSW 2013 data (apparently, spreadsheet-to-worldwide percentages were calculated incorrectly in the FSW 2013 spreadsheet! The estimated Cap Full dates are further away with proper percentages):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhXTGxY6rOpidFVuRUhzcHptLVpSWlpKYVRmNm9tOFE#gid=70
I've reviewed and double-checked my calculations carefully, but if someone wants to re-check by himself and has questions, I'm open to discussion.

Hi Palak,

First of all, you said getting this ready on Tuesday and you are right on schedule so I thank you very much for that. Really appreciate your effort mate!!!

Next, seeing such a big table I feel guilty to have even asked you to include MR etc. to your update - may I ask how much time this has taken you to put together? If this is eating into your personal time (more than you'd like to), I suggest please discontinue it i.e. feel free to go back to your original smaller table without the MRs. I really wouldn't want anyone to be putting more time on such things (than they can afford to), considering other responsibilities. I take it, you already know that. :)

I dont mind doing this at all, may be some columns we can omit i agree with u.
The reason behind for me to do such table pasting here is, coz i hv seen many ppl repeatedly asking same ques & posting the same query "when will be mine ?", (i understand the waitng time. but we cant help much) so thought of having a consolidated data where atleast some ppl can be relaxed.

Some questions, for clarity:

1- I take it all this is basis data from SS, and again basis changes in SS data you plan to update this, right? Purely on basis of SS

2- So, for any given row the totals wouldn't completely match because some people have either not reported their rejection or their positive outcomes - am I understanding this correct? But all the reported updates will keep getting updated here too. - every alternate day i keep updating this table if u hv noticed

3- Transfer data is based on AOR entry, is that right? So this is more relevant for those VOs that provide regular AOR emails like HongKong VO for example. - Correct i think i can omit this transfer column

4- Does Pending means those people that have not been charged at all, and haven't either received their file back (since I don't see anything for rejections here) or does it include rejection cases too? Sorry confused on that one!! ??? - Pending means still not charged at all, neither cc nor dd, PPl still asks, mine was 12 how come they started on 14th, so this makes them atleast comfortable that still few apps are there to be reviewed by CIC, so one should not loose the hope.
"rejections", previously i use to have a column, but ppl dont update that much once unfavorable news are there, so omitted "rejections" as well

5- I am just thinking if instead of so much details may be you could only add a MR column on your previous table for now, rather than put yourself through so much torture!! :) I just feel bad, but may be you are okay with updating all this in one go from the SS...I guess it is your call brother! :) Just don't bite more than you could easily chew, is my thought on this. - not a torture for me, ITS AFTER ALL A KARMA to help others, that's how we build a team and work together.

Thanks again for your great work. +1 due soon when karma allows!! :)

I agree you in both ways, may be i can omit some columns and make this simple.
in other ways may be this huge table is not that easy to read... ;) i realized that part.

Thanks Obryan. I agreed that applying for 1112 now is two risky. If you already applied, can you please tell me what is Certificat de Selection du Quecbec (CSQ)? I dont have it yet and I dont know whether I must have it in the future. because the General form ask me to fill the day I intent to apply for this certificate.
Hi Jess

You don't need to write anything there unless you are planning to settle in Quebec. If you select anywhere other than Quebec in the question on the Generic Form, it should be greyed out, and that's fine. Mine was like that when I sent it and my application has now been accepted for processing.

If you are planning on settling in Quebec, the FSW program is not the one that is applicable. Instead, it would be the Quebec Skilled Worker (QSW) Program which I believe is now closed for the current year (don't quote me on that last part tho).

Yes, I concur. A few people's applications got returned because this was overlooked and at least the copies of foreign degrees weren't sent. So good thing you asked so that you can be set on the right path from early :).

Hi Gurus,
I got a letter from the VO asking me to explain why I don't have a birth certificate.

At the time of applying I had sent my tenth grade certificate from India in place of my birth certificate because I had considered it lost. I also sent an affidavit saying i don't have a birth certificate. I did not give any explanations but just mentioned I don't have one.

Recently, my parents were able to locate my birth certificate after extensive searching. DO I send the VO a notarized copy explaining that I had considered it lost and now I found it and that's why I had sent the affidavit and 10 grade certificate.

Would they consider it negatively if I send it now? what should I do?
1. Is it from NDVO (local VO) or CIC?
2. Was it a physical letter or an email?

Hi Raji,

Really sorry to hear that. I really wish you get a result at the earliest.

My application reached on 1st May and not received PER also DD is not cleared. So hope its rejected but I have not received the Application as well. I have mailed them on 19th-July and have not got any reply till date. I tried to call them many times but ended up voice-machine saying that agents are busy due to heavy calls. CIC return the application to your "permanent Address" (the one in your passpost)

I have contacted Delhi office via mail as they don't take calls, but they simply replied that they didn't get my application and will keep me informed once they get it from CIC. Try sending them a follow up mail again.

1. Do CIC send the rejected application via private courier or Indian Post? Normal Post

2. How do I track my rejected application? As I need the originals and Demad Draft. CIC would return the application within six months for sure as the DD would expire

3. I do see that 3 of 1st-May and 5 of 2nd-May applicants are still waiting for PER, as per Spread Sheet. Is that information not updated or they are really waiting like me. Even i'am May 12th Applicant with no response or DD encashment so far & PER are issued to May 20 Applicants. Just waiting patiently..

--
wish you all luck with the result.

Regards,
