I have submitted my application for immigration to Canada on Sept 1, 2014. Can any one advise me on the process that in how much time can i expect them to charge the fee from my credit card? I have mentioned my credit credit details in the form and now i have received a new chip card from the issuing bank, instructing that the old card will be valid for 2 months only and then i cannot use the card. I will have to use the new chip card.

At the current speed it is 100 days. But safe to have a cushion of 20 days atleast..accordingly inform the bank. Is the chip card "number" different from the earlier one?

Hello All
One of my friend tried to post in this forum but was not allowed to post. Hence i am helping him out:
He is a may 5th applicant applying for 2174 and he got his MR from NDVO on friday 5th sept. He was additionally asked to pay the fee for Right to permanent residency (RPR) of 490$ and provided an address in New delhi. The question here is :
1) Where does he need to send the Demand draft of 490 $ , is it to CIC address in nova scotia or in that address of New delhi provided in the email (in a bit of unclear manner) ? NDVO applicants please provide the address where you have sent the Demand draft to for RPR.

And congrats to all successful applicants by now successful in recieving PER. I am desperately waiting for PER as well...

Best of luck brother.

It may take longer than 2 Months(unless things sped up quite a bit) . At this time May 23rd App are being charged, but the wait time is expected to reduce.

Dont leave anything to chance.
Option one - Call the bank and tell them you dont want the CHIP card just yet and reject the new card.
Ask them your options of link the old card as is with the new card so that it remins valid for next 3-4 months.

Option two - send out a updated payment form to CIC as a followup, with all the details and a cover letter supporting this change and also with Date App Recived/signed by/NOC code/Passport Number/DOB/UCI number (if any) marked in clear.

Online: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm

Go to this site and pay here. Select Pay my fees online and follow instructions.

THis information would be there in email sent by NDVO

From all similar post shared on this forum before, you should be confident that you will receive your PER this week.

There are 5 boxes to write those. So use those boxes.

As long as your NOCs fall under the skill level O, A, and B, you will get full points regardless the 50 eligible NOCs. But ensure proper reference letter for getting points.
Thanks Century Brother .Is it sure my duties under 12b Sch3 can be in any NOC regardless 50 eligible NOC for fetching points, actually One of forum member was saying it should be in 50 eligible NOC.

Another thing to notice:

Cap Updates by CIC
8/12/2014 887
8/18/2014 1421
8/25/2014 1891
9/02/2014 2360
9/08/2014 2763

CIC processed 534 applications in the first week, 470 in the second week, 469 in the third and 403 in the 4th .... Seems like CIC is slowing down ... we could account for a drop in the 4th week in the set above due to one less working day but there is nothing to show that they are picking up pace ..... COme on people. ... get your act together .... !!

also bear in mind that the number of applications received in May is the greatest comparing to the other months, so after they finishing with May, they will start with the same flow of applications per week but will result in more days of applications received studied

Yes. But, this online option is not for all types of payments..defenitely not for fsw application fees.

For FSW Application fees
"""""""""
Send payment with your application

In Canadian funds only, you may pay:

by certified cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the “Receiver General for Canada” or
with a credit card (Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®)

One should be greater than 1 year in the eligible NOCs. But the remaining all should have NOC reference...need not be in the 50 LISTED.
And you will need Employer Reference for them...to fetch points!

Wishes!

Hello Friends,

Is there any 14 May applicants waiting for PER? I am very tensed now since My DD has been encashed
but didn't get PER yet.

Anyone in same situation? Thanks

He is not talking about application fees.

He is refering to RPRF fee which needs to be paid while submitting medicals. And online is the best and easiest way.
