Hi guys,

1. I am planning to send the application package to CIC via courier (Fedex,DHL or UPS). Can someone please confirm that below is the mailing address for those who opt to send by courier? (am applying under NOC 0113) Yes the address is correct

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 0113
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

2. Any suggestion on the best recommended courier service? I got Fedex and DHL in my town. Nearest UPS is like 150 Kms from my place :) Try and opt for home pick up service provided by UPS as DHL and Fedex do not deliver directly to Nova Scotia. They will outsource it to a local vendor which would take additional 3 days for delivery

Fresh morning... Fresh week... Lots of hopes!!!
Wake up CIC :)

Surprisingly after NDVO's last week performance looks like dry day today... NO MR request reported so far.

Hi how much time does WES generally take to process the ECA. If we send to them on 17th September. Can they realistically send it back by the first of october.

What delivery mode do people in India generally opt for? the $85 International courier?

I sent it on 31st july, they said they will revert back by 5th september. But, i got the report back on 20th august. Please send by courier only to ensure that you will get the certificate back in the least time possible.

I don't think that it will be an issue as in the document checklist they state that you must submit the proof of secondary OR post secondary credential.

Thank you friend. +1 for your time and effort.

Hi @frasiercrane @ishakmohd, FYI, we have used FedEx from India, and it was delivered to Sydney, NS, without any tie up with any local courier service there. We were also able to track the service online and it was delivered well before the scheduled time. We had also opted for the express delivery by opting for the higher charge option.

Good Luck!

Hello,

I would like to check with you guys if I could apply under NOC 2171. I have been working as IT consultant (this job title is written on my job contract) for almost 6 years however I worked in 2 projects, one as Business Application Tester+coordinator and second as Service Desk Agent.
Practically my company place me in job positions where they needed me, not necessary as tester.

I am afraid to apply under NOC 2173, I have heard that the cap 1000 has been already reached, not from an official source thou.

So,what do you suggest?

Thanks.
Anca

Thanks Optimist. so 25 days is a conservative estimate?

Maybe they realized that those emails weren't actually supposed to go out just yet.

Hi, you're right. Going with 2173 is just too risky, too late in the game. Better to go with 2171 at this time, but you have to be fast as others are now going for that NOC as well. All the best.

Hi there,

my docs reached WES on 23rd Aug, I got a mail on 28th Aug stating that I will receive my completed report on 25th Sep. But to my surprise, I got the evaluation completed confirmation mail on 05th Sep itself. I am currently waiting for the couriered copy which should reach me by 13th Sep

I had actually selected the delivery option as normal mail. But read in this forum about someone who was waiting for his report for a long time. So thought that I wont take that gamble and selected express delivery :)

Hope this helps

Ishak
