but wht about the finger printing form fd-258 ?

on the fbi website they talk about the finger printing card for fd-258.... is it okay to print the fd-258 on a regular paper and take finger prnt on this form?

I am not sure about New Jersey , but in CA where i stay i went to the UPS store where they took my fingerprints on the FD-258 card provided by them. I suggest you call your nearest police station and take it from there or you can call up UPS call center to find out the nearest UPS store that does the fingerprinting

• Giving Demos and Training Sessions to Clients for End to End Functioning of the Application with every Release of the application.

Hello Friends around the same dream!

I need a help from Seniors....

My application was received at CIO on August 06th, however my passport will expire on March 2015. I filled out all my application referring to this passport and I saw a discussion on this thread about the passport expiration and the length of the visa provided (but this thread is growing too fast and I lost where were the posts talking about this).
I guess I need to trigger the process for a new passport ASAP, right? this process would take sometime to be completed and once I have my new passport in hand, what is the process to send a copy of this new one to CIO and have it attached to my application? I dont have an UCI code. I have read somewhere that CIC does not guarantee new documents sent will be added to your application.

Please, could you help me and guide me on the process that I should follow in this case?

Hi Guys,

This is a Premature Question but i wanted to see what you guys think ... i sent my application which was received on the 9th Sept by DAN ... now what would be a good time to start following up with my bank with regards to the DD being charge or when do you think they will get started with my file.... I know that may & June would be slow cause of the high volume of applications ... i am guessing July and August will go through faster as fewer application so if anyone can give me a good estimate it would be appreciated.

Yes, if your Ph.D. was obtained outside of Canada,you need to get it assessed. It is mandatory that your educational qualification be assessed by a designated educational credential evaluation organization. Failure to submit ECA will result in the rejection of your application! Please read the FSW instruction guide and the CIC weblink on FSWP. They provides the info you need:

now i need a PCC from FBI.

i went to the FBI website as mentioned in CIC. but i am confused with the finger print form of it. from where do e get the fingerprints from ? and frm where did we get the finger print form FD-258 ?

Can anyone please explain me the process ?

I just had a newborn baby, and now preparing the material for the baby.
An email from ottawa says
Four (4) recent passport-size photos(photos must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications)

1. what does passport size photo mean? different from immigration size photo? I remember the imimigration size photo is 35mm X 45 mm
2. i can't find any photo specification in IMM 3999, can anyone help me?
