Dear members of the forum

Just a question for you who are well informed with the entire process. I am a 7th August applicant under 2171-NOC, according to your estimates, is there a chance for my application to be counted under the cap?

Thanks for your time and help.

You have 101% of chance to be in CAP!
;D

Thank you sevagha and canoi

Does this process sound correct for India?

I Pay WES online
I apply for transcripts from uni. They provide it in a sealed envelope (Does same have do be done for CBSE 10+2 certificates also)
I take photocopy of degree certificate .
I send both sealed envelope with transcripts and degree certificate to WES
WES evaluate it
They send it back by courier
I include that in my application form.

Please clarify if I missed anything

While you wait for sevagha and canoi who are more senior than me to chime in, in my humble opinion you are correct.

I'm curious if you have taken the IELTS.
I think you have to only submit copies of your 10+2 like how you do your degree certificates.

Nope haven't taken the IELTS yet. I am targeting a 10th october application date (doing without consultancy). Hope the cap doesn't run out or will have to try next year under the Express Entry system ???

You're right. Just make sure the degree and transcript are attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar's Office and when you fill the online application on WES, you'll get an application number be sure to write that on the envelope you send, so they can easily match your documents to your online application.

rubyracer,

First, get the doc that company is ready to give assuming that what's printed in that doc is correct but incomplete.
Secondly, request your PM and get more supporting documents with what is required.(add his company visiting card)
Thirdly, influence some senior and get more supporting documents with what is required.(add his company visiting card)

But luckily, I have not gone through this..just played a prank with HR people saying:::;
My wife's company is sending her to US fr 1 year (after 1 year) and i need to go with her. So need roles and responsibilties as to get more points to get admission in good college fr MBA.

hope it helps

,
I don't think this is emphasized enough, but for qualified applicants, the company letter is the most important i.e. it should prove everything including being detailed on the duties to match the NOC.
Good luck.

Thanks! Are the school certificates required to be attested too, or just the photocopy is enough for them.

This puts me in a bind. If I ask for a letter , they surely know I am looking out. In bigger companies that is not much of a problem but in small companies they can easily refuse to give the letter
