Finally after requesting fedex to return my shipment and updating the aug 2014 forms, my application have already been received today by D.Lewis. I hope though i'd still make it to cap for 2171. Too much time wasted from my first sending on August 19 to now. But at least less worry..

Hoping for the best for all of us. :-)

Hi, I am sure someone else faced this situation. I took couple of years preparing for my entrance exam after my 12'th before getting into university.
What should I write in Education section and personal history section for this ?

No need to write anything in education history. Write "preparing for my entrance exam" in the personal history section.

A knowledgeable guess would be ..."Preparing for my entrance exams" :P :P :P

hello fellow fsw applicants! hope somebody can help me here.

i'd like to seek an advice regarding what is the appropriate NOC for my husband. He's been working in the call center for 5 years 1 yr Processing Manager in the same field but unfortunately this year he got terminated automatically by the company due to power tripping. he's a graduate of BS Educ and Theology and we're still waiting for his IELTS results.
Is NOC "6314 Customer and information services supervisors" would be applicable for him? or any suggestions for this matter?

Thanks in advance for your reply. :) ;)

bebeko07,
The CIC is only accepting applications in the 50 NOCs mentioned here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#jobs Once you select your NOC go to http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=* and click on them and look at the description. If it matches what your husband does, then you are good to go.

If not, and your husband knows French well, consider applying to Quebec.
O. O.

Are folks who applied from outside Canada (May onwards) receiving medical requests yet?

Hi members,

some breakdown values as per SS's Observed Data (OD)

Week 3 of May Apps
[May 12] = Total Apps (102) | PER (69) | No PER but CC/DD charged (10) | Rejections (04) | Pending at CIC (18)
[May 13] = Total Apps (034) | PER (21) | No PER but CC/DD charged (03) | Rejections (00) | Pending at CIC (10)
[May 14] = Total Apps (099) | PER (63) | No PER but CC/DD charged (04) | Rejections (01) | Pending at CIC (31)
[May 15] = Total Apps (036) | PER (19) | No PER but CC/DD charged (05) | Rejections (00) | Pending at CIC (12)
[May 16] = Total Apps (035) | PER (08) | No PER but CC/DD charged (11) | Rejections (00) | Pending at CIC (16)

Week 4 of May Apps
[May 20] = Total Apps (043) | PER (00) | No PER but CC/DD charged (16) | Rejections (02) | Pending at CIC (25)
[May 21] = Total Apps (035) | PER (00) | No PER but CC/DD charged (05) | Rejections (00) | Pending at CIC (30)
[May 22] = Total Apps (047) | PER (00) | No PER but CC/DD charged (04) | Rejections (00) | Pending at CIC (43)
[May 23] = Total Apps (028) | PER (00) | No PER but CC/DD charged (01) | Rejections (00) | Pending at CIC (27)

Few questions after seeing this analysis... seniors need your feed back

1-What happened to pending applications.
2-For example among May 15 applications 6 are using CC and 6 are using DD.
3-For DD the result will be declared in next 2 weeks but what will be for others using CC.
4-Why they left the applications on a certain date and run to the next date.
5-Is this is working criteria of first come first serve.
6-Are they working in group and each group is working on a specific date and might at the moment 6 or 7 groups are working.

Dont know really, CIC is speeding up or still slow...as total No. of app are also getting less week by week.

Any one from CANADA who can go and knock their doors ? :P :P

Thanks but do recheck ur May 14 numbers
