Guys Please help me out

I have travelled a couple of weeks back, do I have to share this information with CIC or NDVO.

Is yes then when should I contact them

Dear All,

First of all, amazing thread that's going on. I was able to clear all of my doubts from the thread without troubling anyone with my posts :)

However, could someone guide me whether there is any chance of getting into the application limit if I apply around september-end/October 2nd week for the NOC 2171? The current count for 2171 is at 161, and I'm reading that most folks have sent their applications way back in May/June.

I am feeling really dejected that I lost so much time in bureaucracy, delays in documentation, and my own indecisiveness. :(

I am now only waiting for my WES report, and should have it around Sept-end. Do you think it will work out well for me?

Thanks!

I wish you get your PER, but here is the contingency plan:

Thanks Varuen!

Major positive point I discovered thru this is that CIC asks for "main responsibilities and duties in each position"

I think three points in my post fairly covers my main responsibilities and duties and it does match fairly well with NOC description on StatCan's website:

Information systems business analysts and consultants confer with clients to identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.

However, I'd appreciate views from more people on this forum on this!

Dear Seniors,

Previously I applied for category 2174 and my file was returned back with UCI number. Now I am planning to apply in category 2172. I am having few queries -

- Do I need to use same UCI number while filling up the application for category 2172?
- What are the chances that I will be able to meet the CAP for category 2172 if I send my application by next Friday/Saturday?

Regards,
Dev

1) Yes you can use the same UCI number.
2) Any doubt :P :P? Check the total application received so far

Hi people

I have received the request for medical examination from cic an hour back. But i have a few questions, the answers for which i have not been able to find on their website.

1. My visa office is new delhi, but i don't live in India. SO can i get the medical tests done in the country i live in.

2. Is there a call centre or any email address where i can get help from regarding my queries. I need to speak or write to them as They are expecting me to send a police certificate from India and the country i now reside in. To get it from India it requires 6 weeks and they have given me a deadline of 5 weeks to submit all the things.

3. I need to update my new passport number to them and change in address too. Any idea about how to do this or any link?

Any information is highly appreciated.

Regards

Vinisha

Hi All,

I have submitted my package and received by CIO on 25-August. However, I have 2 certificates of employment that do not contain my main duties and responsibilities as these 2 certificates are not in line with the NOC I'm applying for. I have stated the same in my schedule form (i.e. I am applying for 2171 and these 2 work experience are 2173). I have already completed the required 6 years experience in my current employment, where the certificate of employment is complete with main duties and responsibilities.

My question is, do I still need to send a self-declared affidavit? If I do, how are they going to identity it as an added document on my application which I have already sent?

Any help, suggestion, information will be much appreciated.

Thanks!
