Thank you namaste.. I know IELTS will be valid for 2 years but what about the ECA. If my application is rejected due to the cap being filled, can I reuse the ECA for the next application? Will the embassy return the application

These are the approximate costs that I researched

1) approx $200 for IELTS.
2) $203 for WES .
3) $85 for shipping the ECA back to india
4) Misc courier charges for sending the application

Any other costs that I should include? Thanks in advance

in case of filling up the cap, you will get your file back.

The validity of ECA is of 5 years so you can re-utilize them.

They have requested all documents to be submitted by 20th Oct 2014 including PCC. how do i get PCC so fast in Delhi.

Congrats Aman....

If you have delhi's address in your passport, you can get PCC from Passport seva kendra. They issue it within 3-4 hours. You can go to ITO, Gurgaon or Shalimar Place as a walk-in candidate for PCC after filling the form online... no appointment required.

I need your advise!

I made a mistake in my application. I chose a wrong visa office. I wrote Ankara instead of Beirut. I was mislead by the information found on the website of the Visa office in Beirut, saying: "We DO NOT process applications for Immigration and Refugees at the Visa Application Center in Concord Building - Beirut".

To discover later on the website of the Canadian Embassy of Beirut that they do: "We provide temporary resident services (visit, study, work temporarily) to citizens of or persons legally admitted to Lebanon and Syria as well as immigration services to citizens of or persons legally admitted to Lebanon."

My application was received on May 26. I did not receive any letter from CIO yet.

the questions are:
Shall I send an email explaining for them what causes this mistake and Asking them to correct it? or Shall I wait to receive and answer from them first?

When and how do they usually transfer the applications to the visa offices?

Congratulations....
You can get the PCC from passpoersevakedra website. If your address mentioned in the passport is same as your current address than you get the PCC from the same day...

I've seen some applicants have been returned their files due to "insufficient" evidence of job description. I am really concerned because my employer has provided only "brief" job description which has three points about my employment. Description on my ref letter for NOC 2171, my job title is Systems Analyst, is as given below:

Please see below a brief description of job duties:
- Collaborate with project leaders and teams / network within the business to discuss/understand project requirements and translate these into system process solutions
- Develop Company's Business Information Solutions using the standards defined for solutions work to meet Group business objectives.
- Maintain and report on project plan/progress as required

My HR originally emailed me that company generally do not provide job duties on ref letter. It took some convincing to get this "brief" info on the ref letter.

Does anybody here know someone who got PER with this kind of brief description? Can provide me "realistic" idea of likelihood of my file getting returned? If in case I get file returned, and my employer denies to provide me any more info on ref letter, what would be my options? Can I re-send file with printed email from HR telling me that they do not provide job description and provide a self attested job description?
