I have a request from NDVO for PCC & RPRF and NOT MR.
Also, they have given me only 45 days. I need to get PCC from Iran, which it would take more than 2 months. :-(

Looks different - RPRF before MR

I am worried whether they could extend my duration, if requested.

I got my PER on 4th Sep 2014. I am a 15th May applicant. I am not able to update the spread sheet. I have asked Ashifee to do so.

Yes as you will need a PCC each

Hi Seniors,

I am planning to apply for FSW 2014 under NOC 2172. All my papers are ready, but have two queries for you.

My birth certificate has two issues,

1. The birth place in my BC is different from that in Passport and SSLC certificate(Passport and SSLC have the same). All other information in the BC is correct. So, I am planning to send my BC with an affidavit saying that the birth place in BC is incorrect for so and so reasons and I attach the SSLC certificate as a proof of birth place. I will attach the SSLC certificate along with this. Do you think this will work out?

2. My BC has both Local language and English translation for all the information. Should I still send a translated copy which has only the English part?

Appreciate all your help and responses.

I believe that point 1 should be fine, point 2 BC needs to be in English or French so you will need a full translation of the whole document

Hi,

I have a query, the pace with which applications are being processed, what do you think by when fee for 25th June 2014 applications should be encahsed? As I doubt if it goes beyond Dec '14 then 6 months validity of DD will be over. And in that case what will happen to application?

CIC are up to 22nd May for CC charge and 15th May for PER, the Spread Sheet indicates less applications after May so possibly late October to Mid November for your DD to be enchashed.

I believe NVDO have a contact email for such querys however it was mentioned early today and so maybe 15-20 pages back. I believe an extension can be provided in certain circumstances.

Sometimes other requests come out together or a different times so do not worry if you do not have MR request yet

Hello all

The visa office has asked me for an updated proof of funds (including source). I sent them my current bank statement (6 month history) with my application (the amount was several times higher than required settlement funds). Is it fine to send the same updated document? I never heard of anybody to list the source of the money in their account. Also, the account balance is only increased by ~10% since the time of application.

you gotta be kidding him .... ! I think he'll be done by decemeber .... Don't rely on the SS for everything .... it doesn't take into account the slowdown of applications after the first month... and increase in pace of processing by CIC to lead to lesser gaps between CC charging, PER, PCC, MR requests ..... remember this is the last year for FSW applications .... CIC is expected to pick up pace .....

I am not good at calculations at all but if they ve charged n processed and got application cashed for about 613 applicant from 1st may tell now then i as a 2nd sep application will be cashed after 8 month as
613 = 4 month
Around 1200 is the no of senders between 22 may tell 2 nd september
then 1200= 8 more month just for cc to be charged
somebody tells me that this is wrong idea

Your calculation aint all that bad man .... but dont worry... CIC will pick up pace ... like i mentioned before... this is the last year for FSW applications .... 2nd sep application should expect december or january as the charge date ..... relax and enjoy your life till then ... .coz after that you'd be busy packing your bags and ready to move ...
