It is sad that consultancies are so opaque about timelines. I have been talking to them for about a month and not one has provided 10% the info this forum has got. They just keep talking about money.

So If I am not wrong these would be the steps to start.

• Write IELTS,
• Get the ECA from WES
• Prepare all remaining documentation
• Send it to Visa office

Are all this remotely doable for a complete newbie to the process within a month? Which I think is the max time period for the NOC 2173 or 2174 which is my field.

Is there logic in pursuing for the FSW in 2014 -2015 or get the documents ready and try for Express Entry next year? Please advise and thanks in advance1

There is no harm in getting the application ready right now. What I would do is get everything started and keep checking this forum for cap updates. 2174 is a no-go. But 2173 could still be open when you are ready. If so send the application, if not you will be ready to apply as soon as the new process opens.

Also, it will likely take you 2 months to get things (IELTS and WES in particular) done.

With the assumption that speed of PER issue (i.e. # of staff working remains same) being constant going forward as well, here is the high level data,

Approx. 750 applications (i.e. from May 1st to 15th) have received PER in 3 months 5 days so far (excluding the month of May 2014)

So another 1300 applications (i.e. from May 16th to Aug 27th) will take about another 168 days or roughly 5 months and 14 days from Aug 27th. ;D

Error margin is 3% and above #s are as per SS

The most important documents are experience letters which can give u some problems (since they do for most people ) an employer never feels safe writing all this at least in India, and rest other documents all are just dependent on you and your funds

Hi All,

I have a question. In my schedule 3 form, I forgot to mention my student loan under liabilities. The application was sent to CIC about two days back. Now I am worried what will happen if they find out. Should I withdraw my application and file it again ? What other options can I have. Additionally, I am applying under 2171. Is there a chance that I will make the cap this year ? Please reply.

Dear - Sit back and relax , congrats for PER though. You case is with the visa office now and they will review It for further processing. The process will take its time

If u on work permit your visa office shall be Ottawa not Delhi
