When we update the SS, there is a field to enter the fist 4 digits of the UCI Number. What is the significance of this field? With the data in this field can we do any kind of classification?

Hi Forum members,

Hope doing good.My wife is an assistant professor and we are applying under NOC 4011.It takes an other 1 week to submit our application to CIO.Can ull please suggest me on the foll
1.will we fit in the 1000 cap- yes , this isn't hot NOC
2.we are from india.so do we need to submit notarized docs or simply photocopies- Photocopies will work. notary required for documents other than English.
3.we are a family of 4 and currently only my wife will apply.so we are taking a dd of 550CAD.will this create a prob as only she is applying.- you have to pay for all family members.

I have a doubt reagrding the fields "Current occupation" and "Intended occupation" in the Generic appln form IMM0008.
Should we mention the designation "Senior Software engineer", "Lead analyst" etc as in our current company or it indicates the industry which we work for such as "Sofware engineering"
please guide... ???

I would say you need to mention the current official designation and need to mention the NOC code.
Eg - current designation - software engineer
Intended - software engineer

Hello everyone,

I'm not going to send my application for another two months because I need to take the IELTS, but I would like to get my medical examination out of the way. Can I take my medical exam with one of the designated medical practitioners before I receive a request to do so from my local visa office or do I have to wait until I receive the request? I realize that the results are only valid for 12 months but I think if everything goes to plan I should receive a request by this time next year.

Thoughts?

You will need a Medical Request from CIC.

im planning to s3nd my application tomorrow under noc 2171..
ive got some queries..
1.In the new updated fee payment form there is an additional question stating "definition of dependant s
uder aged 22 or older" ..
Do I need to fill this inspite of filling above question that is for dependants aged under 19 and spouse..
can I just write not applicabe for this?
im going with my spouse and 1 year old kid..
2.im an indian citizen staying in saudi arabia..
im planning to move to U.S next year january..so if chose new delhi as visa office then do I need to cometo
New delhi to submit my paasports for stamping and for how long do I need to stay there?
ive got london also as an option to choose but I heard its processing time is very slow..
