and do you have confirmation from cio that submission is attached to the package documents?
or off to add additional document to the package?

Thankfully we have the Secondary school records with applicants name, dob and fathers name in it.
So, on top of the above, we only need to write a letter stating the reason for not providing BC.

1. "Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows in CIC's own words

We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

So 10th standard school certificate or an affidavit containing applicants name, date of birth and Parent/Parents name should be fine in lieu of a birth certificate. Also you must give reason in a cover letter why you were not able to provide birth certificate and that you are providing 10th standard school certificate / affidavit in lieu of birth certificate."

3. If you contact any notary public, they will readily supply the format to you. However, the following are for only reference purpose:

AFFIDAVIT​

We, Fathers Full name and Mothers full name " (Maiden Name) being duly sworn, hereby affirm and state:

1. We reside at "full address including country name".

2. "Father's First Last Name" was born in "City, State, Country," on "Day Month Year".

3. "Mother's First Last Name" was born in "City, State, Country," on "Day Month Year".

4. We have been married since "Day Month Year".

5. "Name of the person for whom this affidavit is being made" is our "son/daughter" who was born on "Day Month Year" in "City, State, Country".

So I do hereby solemnly affirm the foregoing are true and correct statements.

4. Don't have any format. You address it to Case Review Officer, CIO, Sydney, NS.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. Exactly what i needed to hear. But the mind keeps doing its own calculations.

Since the CAP includes only those applicants that have received PER, which currently SS is showing as 15 May applicants that means 460 the cap number for my NOC presently only includes those that had applied till 15 May, all others after 15 May will get added into CAP very soon. U think it can be confidently said that 26th May applicants' PER will also fall within CAP.

I'm new to this forum however I've seen great work being done by all the members (esp seniors) in sorting out queries for most of the forumites ; so please carry on doing this wonderful job.

I also happen to have a query and I'm hopeful if someone could kindly guide me through. My application has been received on 26th June, 2014. I score 68 points with 3 years of work experience. However in August, 2014 i complete 4 years and attain 70 points, so my query is since my file hasn't opened for initial verification what point shall I qualify for (68 or 70).

Would be really great if you could kindly help me out.

You will only get the 68 points. Because counting of points are the base on what documents you have provided. They dont know at the initial stage that you are still continue at the job or not. But why are u worry? It doesnt get any difference if u score 68 or 70, they just need minimum 67 points.

You are going to apply 3rd week of October ( 2nd October IELTS exam date ) , It is difficult to say about CAP , but as per SS I think go ahead and take good preparation for IELTS and gather other documents similarly like ECA , Reference letter , Fund , etc.

I have a small query and would really appreciate if anyone of you can help on this.

I have appreared on 2nd Aug IELTS exam but couldn't get through as in Reading got 5.5 :-(

now I have again taken the date for 2nd Oct - so just wanted to know do I still have the chance of getting application through (in case I get through this time in IELTS), will the Cap be staill available till then. 2171 is the job code.

Pls help and suggest me on what needs to be done.

$100K is a reasonably high figure.. so they're are curious to know how you raked in the moolah

I'd suggest send your Annual income cert' or Income Tax returns (say, last 3 yrs.) which provides evidence of your high earn-outs

Thanks for the quick reply. I sent the bank statement with a balance of $100K with history of 6 months with my application. The fund is in the form of money in my account at a Canadian bank. I intend to send an updated bank statement, but what would be the document for the source of fund?

You can provide latest statement + previously provided 6 months statements.
I believe you must have accumulated this xxxk$ amount over a period of time, and not piled it in a very short time, then you can provide to them an explanation about from where you're earning the money like salary statements, business earnings, etc depending upon your source of income.

You can check with Oscar, Ashif, Century, shah, and other seniors

It is grades as study and training and not as 3year hear Diploma. you mat not get points for educational qualification. Please mail the issue to WES or get ECA from some other agency.

Actually we also met same problem. but we hope its ok and already sent the application.

Hi friends/seniors,
I am a 8th May applicant waiting for PER.I checked my Ecas status with my last year Uci number and it shows 'In Process' - We have received appln on 8 May. Does that mean my DD is already encashed?...what may be the reason for delay in sending PER ?...Is the eligibility check still going on?... :-[ ???

Brother Keep up the hope.
If ur ECAS shows that then there is a high probability that you will receive the PER soon.
Just keep checking ur inbox as well as junk folder. Also if u have provided a PObox then check that too as one of the forum member mentioned that he got his per through letter.

Which envelope you are mentioning abt? If it is for Photos or DD you can keep it open no worries as it would be in 1 application package..
