Firstly thanks for all your information you shared here - it is indeed very useful.

I have a small query and would really appreciate if anyone of you can help on this.

I have appreared on 2nd Aug IELTS exam but couldn't get through as in Reading got 5.5 :-(

now I have again taken the date for 2nd Oct - so just wanted to know do I still have the chance of getting application through (in case I get through this time in IELTS), will the Cap be staill available till then. 2171 is the job code.

Pls help and suggest me on what needs to be done.

Guys Please look at WES 's assessment of 3 years diploma in Nursing program.
The ECA report says;

Canadian Equivalence ....Three years of hospital study and training.
Specialty......Nursing.



What do you make out of this assessment report. Will it scale through CIC's requirement ?

It is grades as study and training and not as 3year hear Diploma. you mat not get points for educational qualification. Please mail the issue to WES or get ECA from some other agency.

CC charged date is August 28th...Waiting for PER. What are the chances of getting rejected after charging. Did we have any rejections after CC charging.

I think the CAP number refers to the number of PER's issued not applications through the door, otherwise the number in early June would have been alot higher. This is just my guess, I dont know if anybody knows the actual answer.

can someone tell me to which applicants does this cap comes from...

i mean they counted till which date applicants till now ?

may 16 or more , im just trying to to the maths

Yes, I have to do it anyway but was thinking if I should wait for file transfer, AOR, MR etc. first or be ready with a new passport before these activities.

Bro.. The sooner you write and apply the better it is...Apply asap its only 161 now...

that's what we all have to figure from SS, instead of just assumptions from the lot of first month i.e. may.
seniors had mentioned earlier as well, first month will be obvious full of rush than it gets slow gradually.

So guys, what about other NOCs...... I am a 26th May applicant for 1112 NOC whose cap has reached 460 already. Do i have a chance?????? It seems i will be on the very edge when my turn comes and can easily be missed out.

I'm new to this forum however I've seen great work being done by all the members (esp seniors) in sorting out queries for most of the forumites ; so please carry on doing this wonderful job.

I also happen to have a query and I'm hopeful if someone could kindly guide me through. My application has been received on 26th June, 2014. I score 68 points with 3 years of work experience. However in August, 2014 i complete 4 years and attain 70 points, so my query is since my file hasn't opened for initial verification what point shall I qualify for (68 or 70).

Would be really great if you could kindly help me out.

Chances of refusal are there but mostly negligible so do not worry. Why do u think that your app might get scrutinized??

68 or 70 does not matter as 67 is required so why worry buddy

Hi friends/seniors,
I am a 8th May applicant waiting for PER.I checked my Ecas status with my last year Uci number and it shows 'In Process' - We have received appln on 8 May. Does that mean my DD is already encashed?...what may be the reason for delay in sending PER ?...Is the eligibility check still going on?... :-[ ???

as per SS, just 1 fellow is charged for CC from 21st may, he must be thinking of his PER now :....
we have to wait for 22nd... ;D
