Are there any people of 8th / 9th May still with no news (DD / CC charge) and still not received their application back??
I am one. Don't know what to do in this situation.

Please suggest what can I do to find status or should I start preparing for fresh application. I don't have IELTS copy either.

sir you have mentioned that you have pre assessed your file...

what is that and how its done ?

for me pre assessment means that my whole application was assessed by my consultant thoroughly and deeply on every aspect, and when he found it ok with all the docs and every thing, then he submitted the case for me. this is what I mean by pre assessing.

I have already sent query mail. no news yet.

I realized that, I had not mentioned address on CC form, but my CC company says address is not needed. Only CC num, expiry and CCV is needed.
I had filled those info.

Now, I think my appl is 99% on way back.

What others think?

these are mostly religious holidays...
only national holidays are for every one(apart from their relgious one)so not many holidays

One guy (delhi2173) got MR request on Aug 20th and another one (immutable) just recently.

Expect good speed from next week; and full-throttle from the week after - that is the most updated information!!

If a person is already in US on H1B and trying to get PR for Canada or Australia thereby he is filling up the slot of desperate or eligible candidate who wish to attain PR. This way H1B is under utilised ( see the trend of H1B in the last 2 years where lottery became a mandate for selecting appropriate quota).

dude do you even understand what you are talking about ?. Do you even know the diff betwn H1B VS PR ??
H1B is a work visa and valid only for 1 particular employer. It takes 10 years at the current scenario to become a PR in US and there r huge restrictions on H1B and it is not underutilized quota, I do not want to start a argument on this as you seem to be naive about the whole h1B & PR. If you want to see how difficult and what problems people face, go to forums like Redbus2US.
Canadian PR is an equal opportunity for every person and everybody who is on H1B has earned with.

Man I am so Pissed at the WES portal it does not accept any of my cards all the time it says Auth Failed I do not know what to do now?

Keep trying. I had the same issue and it was successful after about 13 try's. Plus, I initiated it around midnight canadian time.
