One of my frnd wants to apply for CIC ..shez done with ECA .Shes working as Software Tester..Can someone help me with the NOC code that suits to role Software tester.I saw there was NOC Code-2283 which matches to it but i now don't see it in the CIC NOC list.

Please advise.

need to know something.

i have marriage certificate (here my wife's present address is same as mine) but my wife's passport lists her old address and has no mention of my name. Will marriage cert suffice for visa in future or do i need to get my name in her passport as well?

I know that this is enough to get PER but not sure about visa from VO.

Marriage Certificate will suffice....countries other than India has the PP(wife's) without her husband's name...

And they are getting Visa just with the marriage docs....no issue for the address....

So no worry at all...

Hi, My take is it would suffice. I take it her maiden name is in all documents so would get visa in that name is my guess

yup correct, marriage cert has maiden name only and we want to keep it like that for now.
Dont mind visa in maiden name as long as visa comes

Have they started charging apps received on 19th May?

They've started charging 21st May as per the SS. 19th May was a holiday for Canada. So it jumped right from 16th May to 20th May.

I guess I'm another bad example of one who used his CC instead of DD
My CC bank Citibank is planning to change my current CC to more secure one. my current card is only active for another 60 days.....

I have no words for them.... Now I really want the dates to move quickly

Oh you dont have to worry a bit about it . Most probably your new card will come with the same card number with a different expiry, added security. But the payment advice you gave thru your current card will still go thru. Atleast thats the ccase with my Amex. They have assured me that it will go thru no matter what because a signed advice only needs the card number, amount and signature.... so need not worry .... Cheers !!

I am curious to know few things :

1. Is 188 count for NOC 2173 latest one ? if no , what could be the latest count till last friday ?
2. I am planning to apply on last week of Sept. , will i be able to make it for NOC 2173 , or its too late ?
3. I am waiting my ECA , how much time it will take ?

WES will dispatch the report within 10 days after the status has been changed to "Evaluation in progress". Make all other documents ready by the time you receive it ..I think you would be able to send the application in 2 weeks from now ..and will be within cap.
