Not late at all as of now, but apply asap before its too late... :D

noc 3012 is not that hot and its only 29
to reach its full it will take probably till the end of FSW14, that's what i can judge from last year's caps.

and the no. of caps can be analysed by SS,

Yeah I'm really thinking about applying since my QSW application is taking a long time. I have 9 days left before my bank draft expires and I still have no file number. :'(

@Dev- Please provide the Consultant details as well so that no one make the same mistake again.

No calls were made yet. I assumed it will happen sometime in the foreseeable future, say, in the coming months. It seems most applications (may be it is my wrong impression) got the letter verified one way or other.

Okay. I see what you are trying to ask.

If you really need to notify your supervisor in advance regarding the verification call, do so after you receive a PER. Verification starts only after the File Transfer. But nobody can tell you when exactly after PER/AOR.

I hope you have clarified in your application that the Company does not provide ref. letters according to their policy and that your supervisor is the only guy who can vouch for your Duties.

As far as Unknown Caller IDs are concerned - you need to know that their is most likely no work around for this. We don't know what number the call will be made from.

Finally I got the mail which i was awaiting for ,since last 3.5 months.....
My consultant has shared the PER mail with me .

God Bless all of you & help in fulfilling all your dreams ....

Request admin to update the spreadsheet and delete duplicate entry

Name: Yogi_Bear
Noc code: 2171
Application received date at CIC:14-May -2014
Signed by: Colin
Mode of Payment: Bank Draft
DD encashed date: Aug 26-2014
PER date: Aug 29-2014

Thanks a lot for all the help provided till date.....

Congratulations to you.

The DD en-cashed and PER date look too close to each other. The actual en-cashment date must be a little earlier.

Dev,

You should be naming and shaming such consultants. Please provide their name and location so their business is impacted at least through the footprint of this forum, and the word is spread outside as well. I recall you were worried about your application for a while. Anyways now that it is back give it your best shot and try sending again.

The output one gets from a consultant is only as reliable as the consultant / their firm (that is why advance background checklist or reference check on them helps). I know Opulentus for one is a shabby consultant, Y-axis is another such consultant that I have heard people say not too good about (though there are always exceptions basis individual experience). Most importantly, our job as applicants doesn't end with passing the buck entirely to the consultant - we always need to stay on top of things and be well informed on critical aspects (even though we have hired a consultant). However, your guy seems an exceptionally bad case, as the reason of your rejection is mostly very well known in this business.

Select the new NOC basis good match of duties (not the job title itself, but roles and responsibilities) with any of the remaining 217x that are not yet full.

The reason for the return is "because of unavailability of lead statement for the occupational duties from employer." Make sure at least one of your new reference letters matches well with the new NOC duties that you apply for.

You need to learn, and learn quickly to be able to recover successfully from the assault.

All the best!
true OSCAR, I haven't send my application as of now.... was doing som e research and during last few weeks I found out some D (**)K H E A D consultants, who open wide to ask for money but don have any knowledge...this forum has lot more than them and so little bit I can say I learnt more here then the "CONSULTANTS" to name few:-
1.W W 1 * S
2.Y A X1 S
3.24 *7 365 HR (in CP Barakhamba)
4.VH R
5. SEVEN seas(&%&^)
etc etc all last three in CP

AND YOU ARE THE BEST NO ONE ELSE FOR YOU, IF YOU CANT NO ONE ELSE CAN I WILL DIY MY FILE!!! ;D

Thank you very much for the advice and your patience. English is not my first language and I frequently encountering problems when communicating in English.

Is there a typical timeline for file transfer?

I thought a reference letter on letter head is required and my manager did provide it in official company letterhead. I did not include a note on that in my application. My manager mentioned that he is my direct supervisor and provided his contact numbers right next to his signature. I assumed the consulate will dial that number before the main reception number on the top of the letterhead!?

By "Unknown Caller ID", I meant numbers that shows up (they always show up in Taiwan), just the number is now known to the person at the destination of the calls. That is why I have to inform my supervisor.

Dev,

One thing that all guys are trying to help clarify to you is don't worry about the job title (i.e. designation) that you have written below. That does not really matter. What matters is what one has done at work i.e. the duties or what is also called roles and responsibilities. So you need to check if at least one new reference letter of yours matches well with this new NOC requirements for 2172. Below is what is stated for this NOC:

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/Profile.aspx?val=2&val1=2172

So you can yourself check the duties listed in this link and see if you can get a reference letter with a good matching with the above duties of 2172. If you can, then you can apply for it. Also note only one full-time job of one year of more needs to be matched with this, and rest others can still remain as 2174 if it is not easy to get all reference letters changed at a short notice.

Trust that clarifies!

Thank you Oscar for detailed clarification.

But what if my previous employer says 'No' for such reference letter as my current employer already said 'No' to provide the similar reference letter. what needs to be done in such cases?

Regards,
Dev
