Hello Friends,

Does my application stand a chance to get accepted if I apply under NOC 2174 in next 15 days? I had applied under FSWP 2013 but unfortunately the application reached little late. Then my personal priorities changed and I did not apply under FSWP 2014 so far. I checked CIC website and it says so far only 404 applications are received under NOC 2174!! This sounds somewhat odd to me. So, juts wanted to know if there is still any scope left?

Similarly, my wife is planning to apply through NOC 1111/1112. So, is there any chance for these two NOC if we apply in a month's time?

CIO is still processing applications received between May 20th and 22nd and already they have issued close to 500 PERs. By the time they add the rest of May, June and July, I doubt if 2174 and 1112 can make it. You aren't even ready to submit tomorrow, seems like a long shot but give it your best shot for NOC 1111.That may squeeze through, all the best.

I submitted my application for NOC 2171 on 3rd July 2014.
Request someone to respond with answers to below Qs.

1) I am an Indian citizen and lived/worked in India, Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK in the last 4 years. I came to know from this forum that I need police certificates from all countries. How much time do I have to get all PCC's ready. My DD has not been charged and I haven't received PER yet.

2) I had shown about 29000 CAD as proof of funds when I submitted my application for FSW 2014. Will I be asked to provide proof of funds at a later date/point in time if I receive a PER? I now have sufficient funds in my bank account (30,000 CAD) and am contemplating buying a property for 24,000 CAD in Bangalore, India. Can I show my property valuation later when I am asked to provide proof of funds again or will the visa authorities consider only liquid cash for proof of funds?

3) Given that I was late in submitting my application (3rd July 2014) for a hot NOC, what are my chances of making it to the cap? It reads 132 now but will I be within the cap when my application is picked up (may be in Dec 2014 as per the FSW 2014 spreadsheet). Please provide me a guesstimate as I know no one can be sure of such a thing.

I have a personal loan running in 8000 CAD $ and have settlement funds of 12000 $ , Would this personal loan by any chance have any negative impact on my application.

$12000 minus $8000 means you only have $4000 unencumbered funds. I guess you know what that means, you are short unless you can liquidate your loan fast. Cheers.

Hi,

1- Start working on getting PCCs either when you get PER or after fee charge. But no need to wait after that.

2- You can't be stepping on two boats in 2 different directions. If you want to go to Canada, forget that Bangalore property. Yes they need liquid funds not property valuations for settlement funds.

3- No use speculating on chances - you will get to know how many seats are vacant in the bus when the bus arrives.
