Hi Seniors, I have received PER.
What does it mean?
Does It mean I will for sure get the immigration?
What is the normal procedure after PER?

Thanks in advance.

This means your probability to bite Malus is now 99%. BTW, its a Canadian variety of apples :D. For next steps, please see Ashif_eee's post on page no. 4277.

Congrats and best wishes.

MR + RPRF + Additional documents request

Brother Ashif and other experts - From your experience, what is the typical time taken between above two steps by NDVO?

Guys,

CPC Ottawa is damn fast....

When will NDVO will start issuing visa??

I think ottawa guys will land to canada and still ndvo will be issuing AOR or doing BGC.

i've got another question.
i read so many times here, that people have received TWO original copies of IELTS results from BC. is that a normal procedure, or you've requested it? does it say anywhere on BC website that they issue two originals for immigration purposes? i know i can order another one for the certain fee, but would rather explore this first option first! :D thanks

Dear,

Under a normal practice BC or IDP issues only 1 TRF, but under the special requisition they will issue additional TRF against fee and proper evidence about where you will going to use additional TRF.

In personal experience, they are very very particular and cautious about issuing TRF specially when it is for Canada Immigration.

Cheers!

Thanks for the information Century!! +1 to you.

But based on the trend - people whose Application reached CIC on 14th may, got their PER on 28th August.

Mine reached on 13th August - I havent got any inforrmation about the DD from bank...and no information on PER aswell.

What could be the reason?? any guess??

If nothing is mentioned on the DD, it is by default 6 month valid.

Talk someone in the Foreign Exchange department only and also refer to the below comments:

Declaration from RBI: DD is 6-month in Default Validity

10. Validity

10.1 All pre-paid payment instruments issued in the country shall have a minimum validity period of six months from the date of activation/issuance to the holder.

3.5. The Demand Draft is a pre-paid Negotiable Instrument

At this Point you cans access your ECAS

IN Process>>>>>>>>>
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<We received your Application on xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Ashif_eee, I have 2 questions:

1- In most of the cases I could inspect in this forum the eCAS status has started to say "<<<We received your Application on xxxxxxxxxx" 6-10 days after the fee was encashed and many days sometimes weeks before the PER email. So, why do you think the first change in the eCAS represents the PER and not the Fee Encashment?

2- I am a 0013 applicant on May 20th and seeing none of the 0013 applicants before me got encashed does not raise my hopes at all. Do you think the 00xx applicants get a "special treatment" from the CIC?

Thanks for this forum and the answers :)

there was a guy who reported FIR in local police station that his ielts report has been lost, then took that FIR to IDP along with checklist where it is mentioned that original ielts report needed to apply for Canada PR. he pushed them (IDP) to issue him another original copy of his TRF n get it within few days with nominal charges.

Hello seniors and mates,

My ecase status shows In Process and details shows "We received your application on 12 May". I am using old UCI.

I have not received PER yet.

Any advise?

wow! this sound "less hassle" to you, then applying for another copy, paying a fee and getting it?? :))) i am waiting for reply from our local BC office to see what they are going to say, too...
