I WANT ASK ALL YOU EXPERIENCED FORUMITIES....WHAT IMPACT IT WILL MAKE ON OUTCOME OF MY CASE......IF I DISCONTINUE MY PRESENT JOB NOW, WILL THERE BE ANY PROBLEM AT VERIFICATION STAGE.....PLEASE SUGGEST I AM CONFUSED

EVERYONE....I have an urgent query regarding my PCC

Since i've already got my PER, I intend to do my PCC from Passport Seva Kendra now.

After renewing my Passport (done on the basis of Post Police Verification) last year, i got my Passport but, a month ago this year, i received a letter from Passport Department that the Police Verification for the passport renewal is adverse due to a Minor problem regarding a document and i need to sort it out. I have already prepared a letter with sufficient proof opposing the adverse Police verification report for passport renewal and ready to send it to the Passport Department. I'm also sure that it will be sorted out because it is a minor issue.

BUT MY CONCERN IS - WILL THAT ADVERSE REPORT FOR PASSPORT RENEWAL AFFECT MY PCC DONE FOR CANADA PR APPLICATION ??? OR THEY WILL JUST CHECK THE CRIMINAL RECORD AND ISSUE CLEAN PCC????

PLZZZZZ HELP

Hi, today I received an email from the local vo - Paris to request police certificates within 60 days (but without ME), another format of RB.

Please help me update the SS.

Or please let me know how to update myself. Great thanks!

Congrsts hellen119119..
+1 for ss updating intension

1. If you change your job, you need to inform your VO.
2. When you left your job, it is a good idea to inform HR/supervisor that your VO may make inquiry; remind them every quarter.
3. If you want to discontinue and remain unemployed, I don't think so, objectively, it will have any impact for PR.

CIC is currently working on 20th May.So June 11th will take mid October to start process as per SS forecast. And I also feel the same. I may be right or wrong.

Hello all,

I unfortunately sent the old application forms and not the updated august 2014 forms. App was recieved on 21st august.

The changes seems to be for dependent children and the forms have those children. In my case am a single applicant with no dependent children and unmarried. These changes should have any changes in my application.

Will I still be rejected as the forms are old ?

Dear i don't think that cic will reject your application for this reason....

The day CIO issue PER, they send it to VO. So, within 1 week of PER, you can be damn sure, your file has been transferred.

Some VO issue AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt letter) and other don't. So, it is another source of information.

If I look at 3 posts on the previous page they talk about stress, nervousness and what not. Although Ram's post is on the positive side of things.

Lately this place seems like a landing pad for all nervous souls and 'experts' are supposed to read out a story to calm nerves. Ideally this place is for grown ups, mature adults who can keep a check on their nervousness and fears and rather discuss intelligent takes on how things are happening and share success stories and specific ideas that help others. Instead of the negativity of people, the positivity could really make a difference.

Lately, most popular question here has been - my this hasn't happened for these many days and I am sh1t scared - what should I do? And some people have repeated posts every 2nd or 3rd page on this topic because most others avoid responding to such posts, due of the nature of the content.

Guys we need to understand that things will happen as they are supposed to happen (basis what information one provides in their application), so even if one is getting a negative feeling just posting it too many times might make you feel better but most people try avoiding such posts / folks. In the interest of your self respect please do not keep posting about your fears and stress. It isn't nice and it sure doesn't benefit you or anyone else. STAY STRONG!!!! That's the bottom line of this entire conversation! :)

Well deserved +1

I would like to request members , do help others with ur part of reality /exp instead of scaring them

And all of sudden someone comes up ...hey I am newbie .l applied on 17th July ... Dint hear anything from cic till now..wat shud I do ?

Guys please follow the forum regularly if u need proper direction .

Nothing personal buddies

Oscar, friend, a truly mature person does not need to post on forums. It's good thing there are childish, nervous and immature people, otherwise there wouldn't be anything to read for those mature ones ;D ;D ;D

Dear Oscar and some senior members

This is just to ask that my file was rejected due to insufficient evidence of employment in 2010 for NOC code 1122 but now i am
planning to apply under NOC 1114 from 2010 to continue....

My question is that i have almost the same documents for NOC 1122 experience so will that make difference in my new application??

Regards

Thanks asifee for u kind support

Without knowing the details of the "minor issue" (I don't suggest you post them here), no one on this forum would be in a position to advise you. Police Certificates and Clearances Police certificates and clearances are required from every country in which the applicant, or his/her family, has lived in for a period of 6 months since the age of 18. If there are any entries on your Police Certificates, CIC will determine whether or not they render you criminally inadmissible to Canada. I suggest you do your own search online to find out if your "minor issue" would indeed be considered "minor" by CIC.

Bro Gensch, first of all, sorry that i didn't give elaborate details about the "minor issue" but i did say it is about something in the document and not regarding some entries on Police certificates or any criminal record that could make me inadmissible to Canada.

It is actually about the Birth Place. In my previous passport, the birth place was the city where i'm living (Mumbai). While issuing the First Passport, the Police verification was clear. So, in the renewed passport application i put Mumbai as my birth place. But while doing Police verification for the renewed passport, the inspecting officer said the birth place should be the district where the hospital (of my birth) is located rather than the postal code of the hospital (which is actually of Mumbai). So, this is really stupid.

MY QUERY -- Will this Police report for Passport Renewal affect my PCC to be done for Canada PR Application?
