Hi All,

I am 9th May applicant, PER received date: 15th August 2014.

I sent an e-mail to CIO Enquiry on July 19th for my application status update, Today i received a response stating -

"Your application has been transferred to the Visa office in New Delhi. Kindly direct your enquiries to the New Delhi visa office."

Please let me know if anyone came across this situation.

Dear nskatcv, This is a useful graph! One quick thought to make this graph more aligned to real-time application arrival scenario, and for that one has to 'intelligently' be able to correlate the 'x-axis' with the actual 'PER dates' going on at the time a CIC update came. I am hoping some intelligent soul in the forum might have either kept a track of that, or it can be arrived at from the SS (for corresponding CIC update dates). May be that 'modified' chart along side this one will reflect actually how in real time the applications came and the inclination / tilt of the lines accordingly. Just a thought - feel free to ignore if you like! And thank you mate! Nice work! +1

In the above thought, the clear assumption is PER is the basis of the # changing in CIC's updates

Is that what you were saying Oscar ?

I got the PER dates, and the corresponding application-received date from the spreadsheet.

Although reports are coming for 20th May charge, but spreadsheet has yet to be updated.

Hey congrats on your file transfer.

At first glance it would appear that your file was transferred to VO before you even got your PER. But considering that CIC takes approx 30 days to respond then the scenario is quite normal.

i had to sent my new credit card details since the old one which i attached with application got changed.i had mailed them my new cc details. The cic replied me that usually a file for an applicant will be created within 70 to 84 days of receiving date of application .So at that they may update the details.So i hope it means they will open all the applications which are in between these durations.my file was received on june 16 th for noc 2173

Guys posting my query again as couldn't find my earlier post or I may have missed it. I am currently preparing my application for sending to CIC, I noticed my documents are not going to fit in the envelope size CIC mentioned in the guide, can I send the documents in bigger size envelope or is there any other option I should consider?

Just use the next size that will fit. Envelope size should not be a concern

I was about to send our application today but while checking i found out that in my wife's birth certificate her mother's name has a wrong spelling... just one letter.. the birth cert shows Y at the ebd of the name instead of an E..

Can i still suit? Or this will be a cause of rejection?? =(

will a letter of explanation suffice?

I am tracking the 2013 applications processed in Paris office. It seems Paris does not send RB at all.
All the other 4 applications received visa between 3 and 4.5 months after PER, but only one is still suspending where interview was marked waived. I am not sure if the guy just forgot updating or turned out really a bad luck guy. Hope I am in the 80%

One guy marked CORP 11/26/2013 in the column of VISA , what means CORP?

I hope you are kidding here. Do you really think that an immigration department of a country will reject an application based on a misspelled letter in the name of an applicant's mother-in-law.

Relax, you shall be fine.
