yes you are right...they just check that you have included the job duties letter or not...

So, how do we explain the rejection cases like that of Ricky (reported today) where without CC charge, CIC informed that he has not performed the job duties as per NOC ?

Dear Forum Friends.

I am getting worried. My application has reached on May 14-2014 & i have not heard anything from CIC.

i have filed under noc 2171 and 14may 2014 applicant.I have seen people application of may 15 & may 16 -2014 are getting charged.
I am have paid by Bank draft.

Tried calling CIC multiple times but did not get any response.dropped in a mail to CIC but still did not get any response.
Checked ECAS but displays no results

Checked with HDFC Bank but they say my dd has not been encashed....

Is there anyone on the forum whose Bank draft has been encashed for the application sent of May 14-2014 for NOC 2171

Hey yogi have some beer and chill.....
Stop posting same question again & again. Go to spreadsheet and analyse, there are many applicants of earlier dates, who are not charged yet. It depends on your job duties, number of jobs in past and other complex issues.
So stop bothering, DD takes minimum one week to encash. Check with your bank after 10days.

I remember few days bank someone mention the contact details of HRSDC to know which NOC work experience falls.. I tried to search but did not find again.... Please seniors help & share that..

Hello Forumites,

I am happy to inform you all, that I just received the most anticipated PER email some minutes ago.

Application Received Date - 12th May
CC Charged Date - 30th July
PER Mail - 26th August
NOC Code - 2263

Thanks for all your support and encouragement.

Asif and other admins a quick question please, when I am updating the SS edit link, do I need to just fill in the per information entries only or do I have to enter for every field all over again. I am asking because I noticed that when I open the edit link, the entries of the SS form were blank. I do not want to make the mistake of creating duplicate records.

I will appreciate your response. Thanks

Congrats nd +1 for ss updating

As mentioned in one post earlier that files are returned even if they found incomplete. What is the minimum time we can expect the file return. Sorry for being pessimist here. My file reached in June (NOC 2171) and it has been nearly 2 months. With god's grace, I am expecting that everything would work good for me and all the members in the forum.

my father has birth certificate n passport but my uncle who is PR in Canada doesn't have BC.
to claim 5 points
i have provided birth certificate & passport of my father.
passport copy
PR copy
Driving license
Tax assessment bill
credit card bill of my Uncle. i was worried for not providing BC of my uncle because its mendotary but it went through.
i got my PER on Aug 19

Okay here is the process for your understanding

1. file reaches CIO

2. File is checked for completeness (i.e. all the forms are there and are properly filled in or not \ all relevant docs are there in the package or not) - if the file is not complete it is sent back so no charges occur

3. If file is complete the file is forwarded to charging dept who charge the CC and DD

4. after the charge the Case Officer checks all the docs and forms and checks the experience letters etc...and matches them with the NOC applied - if the officer is not satisfied the file is returned back...please note the CC/DD was already charged...

5. If everything goes fine the Applicant receives PER email...and file is transferred to your local visa office.

Hope this clarifies...!!!

H harka

Wats the reference for ur methodology ?
Is it of cic site or any immigration consultant's view?

If that's ur view .. Then I wud like to have my guess as well.. They charge after checking everything .. Point 4 comes before point 3 .

Dear Members
Today I got my application packet back to me. It is rejected the reason mentioned in the letter is
The employment letter from the employer does not provide sufficient evidence that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as described of the NOC 0013. :( :Now I am planning to apply under NOC 1114.
Any member who is applying under 1114.

Srry to hear about your news...best wishes for your new application

Re: PR application + Student Visa

Century said:
CIC actually encourage people who got education in Canada to apply for PR. So there is no issue on this. In fact, i am thinking other way round. For your intention to live in Canada permanently, your student visa process may go through strict scrutiny. There is a conflict of dual intention. So, the question is if someone apply for PR, will he get approval for student Visa? I don't know the answer. Ask seniors or who got similar experiences.

Hi century
What do u mean by "cic encourages people who got education in canada"
I mean how they encourage ? Do they ignore small silly mistakes or give them edge over others?
Just asking cos I did my master from Ontario few years back and now applied for PR

Rgds

An important question here: How many points you had in total??
It might be the case that you already had 67 points and did not need the 5 adaptability points..

Just asking to be sure if this will work for other candidates or not..

Thanks
