It does matter when you send your application -- watch the sub-cap for your NOC as well as the overall cap. Currently, FSWP is due to run until April 30, 2015 not January 2015. Express Entry is supposed to start January 2015.

Limit on the number of FSW applications to be processed

A maximum of 25,000 new, complete FSW applications will be considered for processing under the occupation list stream for the period of May 1, 2014, until April 30, 2015, unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction. There is no limit on the number of new applications with offers of arranged employment that will be considered for processing.

Hello Gensch. Thankyou for replying me. I am actually very confused about that issue because the bulletin cotradicts another outlined by CIC News. On June, they posted "The FSW program will be accepting applications until January 1, 2015, or until the overall cap of 25,000 is reached.".

We are in the same boat, You have UCI, so I assume you applied last year and you file got returned. If you have not purchased WES FSWP last year pls buy a duplicate order ASAP and send email to CIC. In our case we received email from WES that CIC is not able to see your application online.

Last year that was not such order with WES.

7th May Applicant, CC charged on 16th June, Still waiting for PER.

Dear friends, spesially 7 & 8 May applicants,
Does anybody know what happend in CIC? Were is PER of us? I've called CIC today but no body answered the phone!! Answering machine announced that it is because all the agents are so busy these days !!!
I've sent email to CIC but it will takes at least one month to receive the answer.
I have my UCI @ it showes my app status "in process" . My DD encashed on 3 July. After 2 months I don't know the reason of this unfair way of CIC.
My NOC is 1112 and I am worried about filling its cap before receiving my PER...
is there any body in the same situation??

The members of the forum who are already living in Canada tell different kinds of stories.. The things they say is really discouraging..

I would suggest you to build your resume and post it on their job site like workopolis, eluta.ca , and also do not mention your work authorization on ur resume , let them find that out the hard way - . This will give you a fair idea about their current IT job market

Friends, I cant get a reference letter and am submitting an affidavit alongwith experience letter and contract. I need to know if i should type/print on the affidavit or describe the reason in handwriting ? Anyone with experience of submitting and affidavit please reply.

Just type in...explaining the reason also you can print out your jobn duties on plain paper and have it signed by your colleague along with the affidavit

Lot of us on the same boat. Lot of 7th, 8th applicants are facing same issue. Cc/dd charged but no per's from cio. Crazy cio.. what they do only god knows. .. don't worry folks god will bless us all by end of this week for sure...All the bestt
