CIC have a 30-40 business day response to emails so don't expect an immediate response, also the phone number for CIC is a call centre which is not based in the same office as CIO Sydney so don't expect a good response from the call centre as there calls are scripted.bear in mind DD can take time to enchash, have you checked with the issuing bank as to the timescales for the funds to be reported as enchashed ?

Timescales in terms of how many days it will take for the Indian Bank to receive a confirmation from Canadian partner bank for DD encashment? Well, if you look closely for last 10 apps in this forum, people have received PER emails within a week of their DD or CC encashments, so in my case, instead of thinking and finding out about DD over and over again (where the bank's response is not cashed), i am hoping my consultant receives the PER email by 8/30

Does anybody know what happend in CIC? Were is PER of us? I've called CIC today but no body answered the phone!! Answering machine announced that it is because all the agents are so busy these days !!!
I've sent email to CIC but it will takes at least one month to receive the answer.
I have my UCI @ it showes my app status "in process" . My DD encashed on 3 July. After 2 months I don't know the reason of this unfair way of CIC.
My NOC is 1112 and I am worried about filling its cap before receiving my PER...
is there any body in the same situation??

Me too in the same situation(8 May applicant,yet to know dd status from my agent), but Ecas showing "In Process".Don't understand what is happening there in cic.Some of other forumites are also in this same situation.

I am appying for FSW programme for CANADA.
I ahve gather all the docs.
I had doubts regarding the proof of relationship,in proof of relation i have provided following docs of MYUNCLE(daddy's Brother)

1)Birth certi of my Uncle
2)Citizen card of my Uncle
3)Notice of ASSESSMENT OF canada(as he doesn't have any utility on his name)
4)Canada Passport5)
5)India Passport
6)Letter from Bank that he holds the account in the Banks
7)Marraiage certificate of My uncle


Does the docs are sufficient as the proof of relationship.I have also heard that it is necessary to provide the Bank Statement for Three months which he is not willing to provide as he don't want to disclose the financial condition.

It would be great help if any one can give a clear picture on the same

As far as i know, if the status in ecas shows "in process" than you're in, my friend. I guess they didn't manage to send out all those PERs yet. That's my point of view, anyway. Wait for others to respond, too.

Hi all,
This is my second post but somehow I can't find my first one even after logging in, I'm new to this forum and finding it difficult to navigate.
I'm applying for NOC 2173 however slightly doubtful on the dates - want to understand if I'm already late and its better if I apply next time.
My IELTS result is expected 3rd Oct., 2014 and I'll start getting my transcripts from tomorrow (WES start), which I expect to complete before 3rd Oct. so I should be able to submit my WES possibly by 5th Oct., Is that good enough or will I hit capping for sure for this NOC?

I am planning to apply for NOC 1112 by the end of this week. All the documents are ready, but i am little confused about the funds part.
I have an Fixed deposit 2 years old and it is going to expire on September 30, 2014.

Please suggest what should i do?

Shall i send the application ? Or should wait till its renewal? But if i will wait i think it will be too late.

Please advice me i am really very confused

It doesn't have to be in FD, you just have to show that yo have it and that it's liquid and unencumbered. Don't wait because of that.

I am gathering docs to apply for PCC from USA.
FBI payment options are - Certified Cheque, Money Order, Credit Card.
Can someone tell me if I can us Demand Draft... want to make sure if that will be accepted in-place of Certified Cheque.

Is there any fast way for checking the real status of an application? About 10 days before, one of 7 May applicants "kenkirin" said that his file transfered to LVO before receiving PER email!! May be some files transfered to LVOs sooner, due to large number of applications in 7 & 8 May.

I'm confused. Some 12th May applicants got charged on 25th July, but 16th May applicants are being charged today. What happened in between to the rest? ??? ???

They are using the time for charging a giving PER alternatively; so there are moments when you see many charges and times when there are many PERs...
See the estimates in the SS, I think that it is very good

Did your CC / DD got charged? Then I don't think you need to worry about cap. And if it's NOT charged, then it's certainly something to be concerned about because they've charged May 7 and 8 apps few weeks ago!
