Debit card payment mode is not accepted by CIC.

Please do not give misleading information. Debit card is accepted by CIC and I have paid it by debit card.
There is no difference between between Debit / credit except the security mode of payment.

Is anyone the same case that file returned due to payment issue? when you resend the file back with correct payment form, is your file processed based on the previous arrival date or new arrival date?

Just need to confirm one thing before submitting my documents to courier.

Do we need to mention all cash available in bank account under "Settlement fund"?

Like in my case, Bank account is e.g $30 but i want to keep at least $6 for my own running expense. Can i mention in form that settlement funds are "$24"(Which is as per the minimum requirement) while the bank certificate states that i have $30 in my account?

It was rejected due to CAP filled.
and i tried with my agent to know about DD but no hope they asked 1 month time to know about it
what does it mean my ECAS showing that WE are not able to identify you
can you tell me is there any chance of rejection

Why one month for dd check ? It takes 2 days .. Just ask for the photocopy of ur dd (to ur agent).. N goto bank .. They will verify in couple of days (they have to send email for international dd)
Any guesstimate from forum won't increase or decrease ur real time chances . I suggest you , best way is to cross verify from ur end and track down dd status

Dear Forum Friends.

I am getting worried.My application has reached on May 14-2014 & i have not heard anything from CIC.

i have filed under noc 2171 and 14may 2014 applicant.I have seen people application of may 15 & may 16 -2014 are getting charged.
I am have paid by Bank draft.

Tried calling CIC multiple times but did not get any response.dropped in a mail to CIC but still did not get any response.

Checked with HDFC Bank but they say my dd has not been encashed....

Is there anyone on the forum whose Bank draft has been encashed for the application sent of May 14-2014 for NOC 2171

Same here our application too ws received on 14th may and we hve applied under NOC 2173 and no encahsment of DD too... do u know any 14th may applications who has received PER??? i guess they are still busy processing the files may b due to rush

No- show all the amount....

Although u can expense the additional volume that has been kept compared to required Settlement fund.....

Can I use my friend's Credit card for ECA payment ... and at payment page there is note on top
" Please enter address EXACTLY as it appears on your credit card statement "

does it mean my ECA will be sent on that address ?? or just for their record they are asking .. ??

Files are processed based on the date received, no preference is provided for apps that had be declined and returned. Your app would be processed as per the latest arrival date.

You can't say you have 24k if the statement says 30k. If you need to move funds do it now and get a new bank statement

But raju, if ur file got returned due to cap , then I assume they would have not even opened ur file. Then how u got uci ?

DD takes longer to cash compared to a CC being charged, give it some time and you have good news
