What if my application is received and CAP is already full. Will they charge me?

If the cap is full your application will be returned without payment being taken

WES suggestion of 20 days is just an average, some cases take 20 and some longer

Anyway, I will have to wait till Oct to get the assessment from WES. Sigh...

Guys there is new version of schedule 3 and it has one change.
In schedule 3 (12b) there is no option of clicking on

3 to 4 years, and
5 to 6 years.

i want to check 3 to 4 years. but where to check now ??

My file was returned due to payment issue. If I resend my application, it will be in the queue again , right? Can any one help? I believe for NOC 1112. it's already out of cap.

I can see that there are 60+ applicants for May 12 to 14 waiting for cc charge or dd encashment but They already touched the May 16 applications. Is it over for those May 12 to 14 people?

No man its not even close to over.. We've been hearing news about early May guys getting charged .... We cant ascertain why would CIC work like this ... But it is quite possible that they may have separate departments to look at separate things .... Till the time your file is not returned, you stand a very good chance ... You gotta be more positive man .... and have some patience ... I know its easier said than done, but hang in there ..... Best of Luck ...

Its just an average time, one of my friend results got evaluated in just 15 days...

Did you expect them to get cold?

They may stay on the top of the list for a long time .... but the speed of applications is for sure expected to drop. I am projecting these two CAPS to go on till August end (NOC1112, NOC2174).... But expectcting them to get cold ? No ! ... These would be the first ones to reach the CAP limit ..... Can I ask you something?

1. How long does it take to get the credential checked by World Education Services? Is it really taking 20 business days these days?

2. Is there anyone applied under arranged employment category? Is the CIC prioritize them like they say in the website?

My ECA report has been despatched by WES. Timeline is given below:
- My complete set of documents received by ECA on 15th Aug.
- Review and evaluation completed on 21st Aug.
- Scheduled delivery of the report as per UPS is 27th August.

PS: I ordered evaluation on 10th July, so basically majority of the time was consumed while arranging documents and sending it from 2 different Universities i.e one from India and second one from UK. I did not send these documents from my end rather Univs had sent them directly.

Hi All,

This is my first post and would like to thank all of you for all the help I got by just reading your posts.

My application package was received in Nova Scotia on 25th-August-2014 13:14 (NS, CA time), I'm just a bit worried that there was no signatory on the DHL tracking site ... the status is "Delivered - Signed for by " ... then nothing follows.

Has this happened to anyone before? Is there reason for me to be worried that there was no signatory?

Alternative route is that you can call your courier people and check. I used Worldnet Express. Couldnt find a thing on the site but after wating on one side of the call to the customer care for 15 odd minutes, someone clarified that the package was delivered on 18th July to Mike..... Try to extract the peron name .... Make a call ...

Yes it will be placed in the queue again. However, I would suggest you still go ahead and try your luck. There is nothing to loose other than courier charges. So please go ahead and sent your application, this time with a DD to be absolutely sure about the payment.

Sorry to hear that... ! You could try your luck but s you do know NOC1112 is the second most applied for NOC. Whatever people might say, you have no reason to not send ....!! just gotta pay the courier guy.... If it is within the cap, good enough, if not then you get it back...! No harm in trying .... !
