Bless The Lord! It is a miracle because...it is just a miracle...still don't believe it.

I think I have received my PER because it says, 'Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.'

Thank you soo very much...for everything...all you good people...especially the company in waiting it out.

One more hurdle crossed, . I pray many, many,many if not all make it.

Thank you!

Ps: thank you red9999 for emoticons ;D

+1 for the update .... !! Congrats !!

Hi All,

It's time I made my first post!!!! This forum has been a great vigil for those applying on their own steam, the advice and the guidance shared here is a matchless exhibition of humans transcending global borders to help each other. Much appreciated and a big thumbs up to the senior flag-bearers and the fellow members :) :)!!!

I had made my entry in the SS last week, but just didn't get time to introduce myself. Please do accept my apologies if I am not a frequent poster. But I'll try my best to chip in and help others.

My details:

Category: FSW1
NOC Code: 2171
App reached date: 8/8/14
Courier: FedEx
Payment method: CC

Thanks all!

guys how to update ss!!

If you forgot to add the edit link to your favorites either you can request the administrators to delete the entry and make a fresh one or you can ask them to update the same for you in spreadsheet...

And a question about personal history info.

How detailed should the information be in this table? Is it OK if one writes they have studied from 2009-2012? Or should they write about their summer travels when the university was closed? Are these kinds of details needed? (Both for main applicant and the co-signer)

Thanks for your help.

guys ,

need a quick update.my firend just got ielts results and his marks are

L-6.5,R-6,W-6.5.S-6.5

how much he gets. he need 20 points to qualify
I think he scored 18 :(
Below explanation

If u have
S L R W
6 6 6 6 --> then u get 4 points each...
6.5 7.5 6.5 6.5--> then u score 5 points each
7-9 8-9 7-9 7-9--. then u score 6 points each

For instance if ur score is 6, 6, 6.5, 6.5 then u score --> 4+4+5+5=18...

did u get this explanation?

Congrats MapleTon.

My application was returned due to mismatch in experience, dont know why.
I applied under 2171.

Would it be fine with you to send me what format and content you sent under 2171. It will be really helpful.

Thanks,
Vipul

As I have missed copying the entry link in spreadsheet, so I have added new entry as 'nicestranger82'. Dear admin, kindly remove the earlier entry with same name. Thanks!

Thank you Oscar,

Looking at the trend in the applications sent, even i think that i will be falling under the cap, but not sure...

Do you have any idea, like in 2013 when the cap was filled for 2132?

[size=9pt] Mate, I believe too early now to say with surety considering yours is Aug 27th, and too late in the day to be looking at numbers at this time. :)

Just take it easy as you have done your job. I think you will be 100% safe. :-*

Hello Everyone,

Sent the RPRF, Medical and PCC on 7/24 to CPC ottawa, received on 07/25 to Morreau at reception. ECAS Status still says " We have started processing your application...".

Should I worry? Please advise.
