Alright, this is a stupid question however please help me.

In the background declaration form, where it asks for "Type of certificate issued or diploma issued", what am I supposed to write for 12th standard education and for my BA Honors.

Thanks a lot in advance kind people.

Write simply "HSC" in India or "12th" for your 12th standard education.
Write "BA honours" for BA honours qualification.

Simple isn't it ? All the best.

Dear Seniors,

I reside in Saudi , I wanted to enter my details in the spread sheet of FSW 2014 . but the link "....tinyurl. ..../FSW14-Spreadsheet" is blocked here . Could you provide an alternate link so that people residing in this region could also register their details.

Or please advise me to whom can I send my details to enter it in the SS.

Many Thanks

Dear Canadian,
I will suggest you to contact WES and asked them what is the reason of no recognizing your Master degree institution?
Last year I my file got rejected due to their incorrect wording for my education as they mention Canadian Equivalency as Two Years Undergraduate which was no where mentioned in CIC guide lines hence reviewing officer give me 5 marks for education only. Though I hired a consultant last year but he also was not able to recognize this mistake in WES report. When FSWP 14 came I just contacted WES again & asked them what is my education Canadian Equivalence then they opened my file again & put under review for more than 2 months & after 2.5 months they update my status & give me new report with Canadian equivalency as Diploma Two Years which as per CIC guidelines will fetch 19 marks hence I reapplied again at the end of July this year & now very optimistic that i will get through. So check with them again if you are not convinced with their evaluation.

@ Canadian

I agree with Nadim.
Also check for their free evaluation tool on WES website and check if your univ is recognised / non recognised in their records. in case it is registered as recognised, then you have every reason to go back to them and ask for a correction in the report.

First of all Thanks to everyone who helped me in preparing for FSWP 2014.

App sent: 16th Aug 14
App Received : 22nd Aug 14
NOC CODE: 2173
Received by : DAN

Can i expect my application to be in the cap based on the received date 22nd August??

Congratulations for all the PER holders and All the best for awaiting PER people.

Updated SS.

Good luck......

YOU SHOULD PLACE THE BARCODE PAGE(S) ON TOP OF THE ENTIRE APPLICATION PACKAGE. THIS MAKES IT EASIER FOR CIC TO SCAN YOUR APPLICATION WHEN THEY OPEN IT AND ENTER IT INTO THE GCMS (Global Case Management System.)

AS PER THE CIC WEBSITE: "Place the barcode page on top of your package. If you have more than one package, place a separate barcode page on each one."

THE ABOVE IS FROM THE DOCUMENT CHECKLIST AND CIC WEBSITE (INSTRUCTION GUIDE) WHICH SHOULD BE THE STARTING POINT FOR ANY APPLICANT.

IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEND A COMPLETE APPLICATION - NEEDLESS TO SAY. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION, IT IS EQUALLY ESSENTIAL THAT YOU INCLUDE A WRITTEN EXPLANATION WITH FULL DETAILS AS TO WHY THAT DOCUMENTATION IS UNAVAILABLE (E.G. A LETTER OF REFERENCE IN THE REQUIRED FORMAT) AND ANY DOCUMENTATION THAT WOULD SUPPORT YOUR CLAIM (E.G. A COPY OF EMAIL EXCHANGE WITH THE HR OF YOUR COMPANY SHOWING THAT THEY CANNOT INCLUDE DUTIES IN YOUR REFERENCE.) IMMIGRATION LAWYERS IN CANADA, US AND UK ALWAYS INCLUDE A COVER LETTER WHEN THEY FILE AN APPLICATION. ALTHOUGH A COVER LETTER IS NOT REQUIRED (ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A STRAIGHTFORWARD APPLICATION IN THE FSW CLASS), A WELL-WRITTEN COVER LETTER CAN ONLY HELP YOUR APPLICATION IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES THAT REQUIRE FURTHER EXPLANATION.

Currently CIO is working till May 15 applicants. Be patient your turn will come soon.. First your payment will be charged & then if your file is complete & eligible for processing they will send you an email after completing that review... After that file will be transferred to VO for processing.

Century,

In India, Primary is actually from 1-4, Secondary from 5-10, higher secondary from 11-12, then graduation / diploma and then masters / higher diploma.

But Consultants generally ask to write as you have rightly mentioned, considering Canadian equivalency.
Primary = 7 years (1 to 7)
Secondary = 5 years (8 to 12)
post secondary = Rest of the years

Don't think writing differently will make any difference though.

CanOl,

brother you are correct.
as i m from india and used different tenures for education years.

currently waiting for medical request.

Lord Krishna bless us all
